I disagree…money on most guitars is just for a name or location of assembly. I mean, a Jazzmaster is the poster-guitar for the argument. You buy a $1400 guitar and INSTANTLY have to change out parts to make it functional. The bridge is horrible. It blows me away that Fender still hasn’t corrected it for the sake of "keeping true to the original."

I play a Squire Jagmaster, I set it up myself and it’s help. I changed out the humbuckers with GFS Dream 90s and it sounds killer. All together, I spent $350 to have a guitar that I would carry into any battle with me.

On the converse, I have a Squire 51 I had to change the bridge out on to get it right. The stock one was trash. But on a $100 guitar, what do you expect? Gibson makes some awesome double cutaway les pauls that comes with P-90s. They’re like $650-700. G&L makes a Jazzmaster ripoff that is nice, they’re like $450-500.

What is this G&L Jazzmaster ripoff you are talking about please? This news interests me.

I think I figured out the opening of I Got Lost…..hit an open D a few times, then a nice loud D chord (232xxx). Hit an open D a few more times, then do D three times and then a D5 (x32xxx).

Sounds pretty good on my acoustic; fiddle around to get the exact strumming.

Look in their Fender section; I think they have red ones available.

Hey gang, my brother told me (and showed me) that the opening of Let It Ride is best played with a G5 chord (xxx553) instead of a G. I also have have a good idea of a better way to play the verse, but I’ll need to wait until I have my guitar again to test it out for sure.

Curse you Alice! You have to post my favorite J solo RIGHT when I move and don’t have my guitar with me!

But I can’t wait to try it.

Hey, for the Leper tab a little bit ago, which part exactly is the "stick my neck out" part?

                    Thanks……

Hey guys, loving the tabs. The Lung is probably my favorite thing to play on guitar right now. If anybody has a good Forget The Swan I’d appreciate it a whole lot.

Question though, judging by the name "Alicemudgarden jr.", you must be an Alice In Chains fan. So since you’re a fucking great guitarist and have an ear for them, is there any chance you could maybe try Rotten Apple and/or Rain When I Die? Those are my two AIC favorites and all of the tabs for them suck.

Sorry to ask but I would REALLY appreciate them, especially Rotten Apple.

                      Thanks.

Have to say you guys are all doing great jobs. I wish there was someway I could help.

And Poledo would be really cool to see; sounds super easy and simple too.
