And he plays right after that. The only problem is that I don’t know how to watch it with sound. But it might just be some preferences on my computer.
Don’t think it’s your preferences – the sound on that clip won’t play for me either while other clips have working sound.
Trust that someone in Norway will make some calls to have this fixed and the people responsible at NRK fired? My intention was to not to pre-listen to the whole album, but oh well…

Someone else hear that Crumble has a definite New Order feel to it, while I Got Lost (especially the drums+bass) is very Joy Divison-ish?
By the way, isn’t it very cool that the new album cover has "Dinosaur Jr" in the same font as on the first two albums?
Just thought someone ought to comment on that

sfbarkers,
Thanks for making many good points that I completely agree with. There’s no contradiction in being for free sharing of music and at the same time being for spending money on artists that you love. I’m all for both.Just the intro to Almost Ready is a-fucking-mazing
"Another Girl Another Planet " wrote:I think you may have overlooked the distinct difference between a leaked, pre-release date download vs post release downloads.Exactly, there’s a difference there. As for this album, I will probably not try to track it down and download it, simply because I know I will buy it and want to be excited when I finally get it. Had I already heard all the songs over and over, there’s no way I could even pretend to be as thrilled about the release when there are no songs to hear for the first time…

Awesome prelisten song, cool album cover!

Will probably wait for the rest. Not against sharing, think it’s a great way to spread music to countries where the avarage salary is still a small fraction of what it is in US and western Europe. If it pisses off the big record corporations and and bands like Metallica then that’s just a bonus.
I like Sex too. There’s nothing much else to say.

Love how the guy with the camera agrees not to show it to his mom and dad

Thanks for this… have to walk through some snow to get to work now, or I’d stay and comment some more
I think we need one thread for lagers, one for stouts, one for weissbier, one for trappists etc etc… how can you make a list of only five beers??

Yes, you’re well informed. Nowadays you can just say that you don’t wanna do it, but this changed just a few years ago and it wasn’t so easy back in the hey-day of yours truly. Guess this means you’re a few years younger than me

I served my country (Sweden) doing "vapenfri tjänst" (i.e. weapon-free civilian service) for some 9-10 months, as technician for the Swedish state telecom company Televerket (which is now the pseudo-privatised Telia). To get to do the weapon-free thing I had to lie and say that I could not think of any hypothetic circumstances under which I would be able to kill another human being. Of course I could easily think of such circumstances, but I failed to see the logic in realising that in principle such a situation might exist should imply that you have no choice but to spend a big part of your life learning how to kill other people, likely to be trained by some asshole who calls collective punishment "training".
