Well, Radiohead are my favorite band, I gotta say it’s pretty cool if your 14 year old kid is into them, as their music (especially the more recent albums) incorporates alot of unusual/experimental sounds and structures. She must have good music taste! I’m posting beacause I think you’re very lucky to be able to see them with your daughter, but because you don’t know them and the other negative reactions in this thread might be going in fear of a bad show. Now I don’t know what music you enjoy apart from Dino Jr, so I can’t tell whether you might like them or not. They started out as an alternative rock band, made two awesome rock records in the 90s (The Bends and OK Computer). Here’s the video for Just, one of their earlier rock songs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_qMagfZtv8&ob=av2e Jonny Greenwood, their main guitarist, is a great musician. While his style is quite different from J’s, he is an incredible player and apart from guitar also masters piano, ondes martenot, viola, harmonica, and has composed classical music for orchestras.
Then in the 00s they started incorporating more electronic sounds in their music, delivering Kid A, a pretty experimental album. They’ve done a lot more since, and each album is new and different. Whether you like them or not, they’ve been very influential, do new things with each album they release and are a truely original and daring band. On top of that, they are great live, and for a kid as young as yours, a great starting point to get into all sorts of music. I got into them when I was 15, and they introduced me to lots of other great bands.

A couple songs I consider some of their best, check them out, you might enjoy them:

Ok thanks for the help, I am now pretty sure the Boss pedal he was using was a tuner, this one: http://di1-4.shoppingshadow.com/images/pi/33/2b/39/96192794-260×260-0-0_BOSS+BOSS+TU+3+Chromatic+Tuner+Pedal.jpg

I’d love to get myself a Fuzz Factory, to get that squealing sound, but it’s pretty expensive… If anybody’s got a good idea for a cheaper alternative, let me know!

Hmm I don’t think that’s it. I was able to see the pedals he used but stupidly enough didn’t think about trying to identify them. One of his pedal definatly looked like a Boss to me. It was a single pedal and had various blinking red lights in a row on it. I think this was used for looping but not 100% sure.
