Hi Anthony,
I have PM’d you on FSF regarding this…
Cheers!
trensidhoh, you got mail

Hi Anthony. I got the Dino set taped and it’s sounding pretty good so far. I probably won’t have it ready to send to you until early next week however. I know Trensidoh was intending to tape as well. I was gonna tape Lou’s set but didn’t because (a) It had already started when I got there and (b) it would have sounded terrible, Lou was just about inaudible, there was just too much audience chatter.
Hi trensidoh,
I was thinking when you mentioned that you are also taping the show that maybe I won’t bother but then I thought, maybe we should collude, like me stand to the left, you to the right and then create a matrix of our recordings! What d’ya recon?
Hi, I can’t quite pictue that! I guess there is no balcony then?

Dinosaur Jr – Brixton Academy 1994
Captured from BBC R6 Music Digital via DVBt
01 – Freak Scene
02 – Out There
03 – Get Me
04 – Not You Again
05 – Feel The Pain
06 – QuestHot on the heels of their album ‘Without A Sound’ Dinosaur Jr have taken to the road to show the people just how loud it is possible to play a guitar! In this concert the audience was treated to a selection of tracks old and new. They released their first, self-titled album in 1985. Their 1994 LP ‘Without A Sound’ is featured in this concert which was recorded by the BBC at the Brixton Academy, London, on 8 October 1994.
August 23, 2006 at 4:03 am in reply to: WEDS 23 Aug – 4am – 4.30am Dinosaur Jr – Chris Hawkins, BBC #120876Hi all,
I recorded this from BBC R6 on my PVR so it should be a nice hight bitrate capture. I’ll sent it to Anthony just as soon as I get the chance.
ahh shit that was really really bad… can anybody actually enjoy listening to that car crash of a show?
Those assholes got precisely ZERO interesting information out of murph whatsoever and frankly if they had asked me that question about the 13 year old boy I would have told them to fuck off and hung up.
Assholes.
Thanks for the link though anyway

Mike
Hi again,
Thanks for all the positive comments about my recording, I’ve snaffled so much from Anthony’s fine collection, it’s great to be able to give a little back

tonas-> I haven’t made the recording available in mp3 but I’ve got no problems if anyone wants to convert it, alternatively if you have a suitably large recepticle and let me know what bitrate you’re after I’ll happily mail/ftp/whatever you an mp3 version, or (if Anthony’s cool with it) I can send him an mp3 version for freesofree…
Scott-> Just to let you know that I did a test burn a few minutes ago and it worked OK for me. I used Winamp’s disk-writer plugin to convert the flacs to wavs and burned them to CD using Nero 6.
Another girl…-> The lung is very cool in this recording (and it’s my favourite song *period* in the frequenze DVD) however the two that I can’t stop listening to on my recording are Bulbs (I just love it when the guitar wall kicks in) and Tarpit (I know I’m biased but I really think that this is just about the best live recording of tarpit that I’ve ever heard)
Cheers
Mike
Hi again all,
Just to let you know that my recordings are now on dime…
Dead Meadow – http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=96898&hit=1″>http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-deta … 6898&hit=1
Dinosaur Jr – http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=96900&hit=1″>http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-deta … 6900&hit=1I’m also uploading them to http://www.freesofree.net”>http://www.freesofree.net as I type.
I think they sound really good – I hope you’ll agree … let me know what you think!
As for the Newcastle Riverside tape from 89, I have spent more hours than I care to dwell upon trying to find that cassette… I know I had it before we moved house in Sept 04 but my whole box of bootleg tapes (including gigs by Spacemen 3, Loop and many others) has since mysteriously dissappeared
I’m sure it will show up one day though.Cheers!
Mike
Hi, you guys need to check out the ‘Frequenze Disturbate’ video on either FSF in low bitrate mpeg or as currently seeding on dimeadozen in full minidv glory. It is an excellent audience recording and really conveys the feeling of volume of a live dino show. It is keeping me well happy until the official DVD comes out.
Do my eyes deceive me or is that a taper with a 10ft mic stand right in the middle of the mosh pit !!!
If you check the comments to this torrent you will see a link to a (publicly available – so I’ll also post it here
) ftp site which has a *much* better taping of both the Dino set and also the Dead Meadow set! Thanks to the original taper for sharing this information…
http://ftp.tapers.org
u: ftp4all
p: ftp4allI’m there…
If Jeremiah is gonna do the research, the least we can all do is fill in and email a form!
