ahhhh!!!! should i go to all three shows from the 12th to the 14th??? charlottes a decent drive for me from charlottesville, but baltimore isnt bad at all. what’s everyone’s opinion
well, for little furry things, try running your wah after your distortion/fuzz box, the tones very similar. i’m almost certain that’s what he did. as for different distortions, he’s always had his big muff, but he also had a univox super fuzz which are pretty rare and a few other fuzzes. i’m sure that if you cranked them all on at once you’d get quite a noisy but amazing sound
pretty much anything, but he would have to play "gotta know", "gettin’ rough," and "over your shoulder." those are a must.
thanks for the info mattman. i’m going to college next year (about 6 weeks actually), and i would like to get a guitar to just junk around with if i don’t think it will get stolen. the jazzmaster’s definitely my first pick.

woah you live in danville. i live in roanoke. kinda close i guess. yea, i’m thinking about just forgetting about all the vintageness concerning effects and guitars and just buying new stuff because it”s a whole lot cheaper and easier to find. once i have some money i’ll blow plenty of it on nice vintage stuff.
yea, that is true. i guess i was thinking more along the lines of dead notes where no real sound comes out. i guess that would just make more of that wonderful feedback he has though.
yea, i like jheads or dinoheads. any of them will work though, really. at least with anyone who is really into his music. anyone else might think youre crazy.
yea, i remember reading in "our band could be your life" about the owner of homestead records i believe talking about his first encounter with j when he was in college in amherst, saying that he had rings on all his fingers and huge hair, and he talked about his weird eating habits. so i’m pretty sure that j’s got some college experience.
yea, and can you play in the virginia area around richmond or charlottesville or roanoke. that would be so sick
