i still cant play a shitload of the discs you gave me (just need to get the right dvd player for those ones i assume) and the few i can play skip, still not sure why. lemme just get my package to you first before we deal with any of that though.

Anyway, in my opinion it was a good show, they had a few problems with the soundcheck so they started a bit late, at around 23 PM. The surrounding was beautiful, the Festival was held on top of a hill of the city of Urbino, inside the gardens of an ancient castle….before Dinosaur jr, Julian Cope and The Raveonettes played…at the end of the concert I sneaked to the backstage where I took photos with Lou and Murph, and I had some cd’s and booklet autographed by all of three….it was funny when I handed my copy of the bootleg "Jayloumurph" to Lou to sign it, he was surprised to see it, then he looked at the setlist and he said something about it, like that he didn’t believe they actually played some songs or something like that…it was also funny when we took the picture, he told me to strike the pose and shaking hands like politicians do. Then I went over back to J to take a picture with him also, but before I could do that I was kicked out by the security guys ’cause I had no pass. A full video of this show exists.
I just got the japanese reissues, which contains some extra stuff, and they also have lyrics to all the songs, which I guess are not available on the Uk/Us releases.

sorry, I messed up with the math, you are right….still, for "us" europeans, japanese cd’s are sort of cheaper because cd’s in europe are more expensive than in the Us…

well, I actually converted yen to euro ( my currency ) and then euro to dollars…and since euro is very strong these days vs the dollar, it’s like I’m paying less than you…in other words, to me is more convenient to buy japanese stuff that it is for you…or something…

yes, thanks for the review…basically same setlist as the show in Rimini and same opening band ( but he didn’t play with them in Rimini )…I’m surprised J talked to the audience, in Rimini he didn’t say a word!

MoroI think J is ok with taping, I taped the Rimini concert two meters away from him….but it really depends on the club policy….in Rimini there was no security, no checking, no everything…anyway I think small clubs allows cameras in….have fun!
I checked the video I shot over the weekend….picture and sound quality are very good…just a few heads on the way for the first 15 minutes ( which don’t bother anyway ) but the rest is very clear ( I was standing 2 meters away from J after all! )….I can only make Pal Vhs copies right now, but late December/January I’ll be able to record dvd-r as well…let me know if interested
