Anthony, I didn’t get your email before I left the house, so I didn’t know who to look for….maybe next time. I got into a serious BS session at the sawmill and didn’t get to the northstar until nine. Would you believe there was a parking spot right out front by the parking lot? We were on our second beer when we heard some loud thumpin’ from the other room and decided to go over even though it was only a little after ten. There was J bustin’ out Alone…I hope that was the first song. They played a lot of older stuff Saturday, which totally rocked….I was blown away when they went into Kracked. And of course they played Sludgefeast
Not nearly as many people there as I expected, but glad to hear lots of old old stuff mixed in with the new. Definitely worth the two month wait.

Likeaghost, just let me know (whenever) if you can make it, it doen’t seem like anyone else is riding along, and I can’t find anyone around here to go. Closer to the 26th I’ll know for sure what time I will be meeting up with the sawyer in Lebanon county.
I thought this pitstop would seal the deal for any riders….especially since I want to talk shop for a while when I’m there. Two minutes into talking about the lumber/timber industry to any of my friends or relatives and they’re yawning to beat all hell.

Regardless, I thought I would post this just in case anyone is considering the ride along. Arrangements are being made between myself and another sawyer for me to stop by either his place or his sawmill on the way to philly 
So, if anyone does want to go along you can get a tour of a sawmill….I’m hoping to shoot the breeze for at least a few hours about grade sawing, operating costs, and selling my lumber/timber.You’ve been warned….not that anyone will ride along anyway
I’ll definitely be there before a huge crowd arrives…just have to watch the porter intake since I have to drive back after the show

The first time I went, we showed up REALLY early, and joined one other peron at the bar. It got severely crowded a little later, so we didn’t even go in to see the opening act since we had seats right in front of the taps
Back in October we got there around nine, and stood up by the stage for all the acts so we would have a nice view. The first time we were pretty far back when we finally came in for J., and since the hadn’t raised the stage yet, it was hard to see anything Thanks, Flying Cloud….I still don’t have anyone to ride along with me (*hint hint* you central PA Mascis fans), but anthony and I are making arrangements to meet up before the show

beating on the door if you planted down there for too long. That line can get pretty long sometimes, and I find myself striking up conversations with people in line to pass the time 
I’m still not sure what to do about my ticket situation….Northstar’s website said the will honor the tickets from the cancelled show, so I held onto mine. The other day when I got my credit card statement I noticed that ticketmaster refunded my money
So, do I show up with the old tickets hoping they’ll let me in, or do I call ticketmaster? Free tickets sound pretty cool to me The saga continues….

This is just one of the first that come to mind, since there are so many of them. I would have to say on "loaded" when J says "I know why you came here," and those voices come up in the background….ooooh, chills.
And the tympani on "not the same"…actually, just the ending to that song is great, it just seems to lead into "get me" so well.
Okay, now I’m really confused. I was going to tell everyone that you could still order old Dino. albums from http://www.sstsuperstore.com but when I just went in there to verify this, I couldn’t find any dino. music for sale! I just bought BUG and YLAOM a few months ago on CD from this site. What’s going on?
About the Dinosaur album on homestead….there is usually at least one up for auction on ebay. I somehow managed to pick up a new copy of it on CD a few years back from a record store…must’ve been sitting in the back somewhere collecting dust.
Yeah, I’m glad I don’t have to make the long drive by myself. Hopefully I can talk my friend into driving, since his car gets better mileage….and I want to get all gooned up for the loud electric action
Well, I managed to find someone to go to the show with me, so the ticket is gone. Anyone else from central PA going? Perhaps a carpool could be in order…
Excellent, I haven’t sent my tickets back to ticketmaster yet, and this show is on a Saturday night! What are the chances of a freak nor-easter in late April? Sooo, I still have that extra ticket…so anyone from central PA that would like a ticket and a ride there, lemme know.
