Dinosaur Jr.’s new album is real authentic in that respect, as it’s information does not draw a parellel with what record companies wanted them to write about, but rather with less vociferant issues. It’s jusy my opinion, when I expected to hear another YLAOM at the reunion release and it turned out to be one of the most different lyrically and musically with Lou and Muprh.

Hey Blake. Ear Bleeding Country was released just 11 days later so it may be just a quick compilation, or test. I think J got too add some songs on it he wanted. Budge is most likely one. Does it have 20 songs on it?
I agree, Simmons. I found some You Tube Broken Mascis Scene gigs here. The Dino tunes sound better as a trio, but it would be interesting to hear a J’s take on an instrumental release. That might be work that wouldn’t sell.
It helps me to live that Dino can be 40 and still be out there showing fun to everyone. I don’t think their music will ever quit attracting listeners, even if they just stopped touring and started recording a song every month. That’d be cool. Then we could really tell when Jya was on a downhill and notify him.
I don’t think any of the 3 members want to be there. :- I don’t want to say they are doing it out of obligation either, but it just seems like a real whacked idea to reunite after so many years, even though it has settled any disputed media attention about fueds between Lou and J. I never believed that anyway.
