Sentridoh is just Lou Barlow by himself. Mostly acoustic, noise, four track stuff. More like real old seBADoh is, Though I haven’t heard the new album yet so I can’t say for sure what it sound like. I do think It’s about time Sebadoh broke up though, their last two albums were terrible(but that’s just my opinion, and what the hell do I know anyway).
At the Gates – Slaughter of the Soul. Nothing like a little Swedish Death Metal to get you through eight straight hours of classes.
Anything by the Dirty Three is great for a slow rainy day drinking coffee. Tom Waits works really well too of course. I wish it would rain here. I’m in Denver, and it hasn’t rained in months.
MeatPuppets – That’s How it Goes. In class, in my headphones, right now, instead of doing anything productive. This song kills me.
Hayseed Dixie did an album of bluegrass covers of 70s and 80s pop songs. I don’t care too much for bluegrass music, but hearing My Best Friends Girl on Mandolin and Banjo is delightful.
The Pilgrim:Chapter 33-Willie Nelson(written by Kris Kristopherson

Frank Black- Teenager of the Year
Shadow’s Fall- Of One Blood
Cave In- Jupiter
Fugazi- In On the Kill Taker
Agorophobic Nosebleed
just a few things I’ve been listening to a little too much lately. I hope everyone has a merry xmas. And be careful if you have to travel anywhere. (I’ve got a 14hr drive ahead of me tomarrow.)

At The Drive In- Relationship of Command…best album put out in 2000 (after More Light ) What’s up with ATDI anyway? They took a break in march and now their label, grand royal, went under. I hope they’ll keep things together.</strong><hr></blockquote>-24 hour revenge therapy is an amazing album, good choice. Since someone already said Where You Been, which by the way is my response to every question which begins with "The best album…
or something along those lines, I mean Goddamn what a record. What was I saying, oh yeah I’m going to go with:
Aceyalone-A Book of Human Language
Quicksand-Slip
The Dillinger Escape Plan-Calculating Infinity
The Dirty Three-Ocean Songs
every Lungfish album except the last one(2000)The new Faint album (Danse Macabre) is pretty amazing also, perhaps that’s my favorite album of the year, I can’t stop listening to it. When I saw them live I danced so hard, I literally almost got into a fist fight with some big punk rock jock. Great band.
limiting my response to only one Dino album, I would have to say, in no particular order.
Dinosaur Jr – Where You Been
Janes Addiction – Nothings Shocking
Nirvana – Nevermind
the Pixies – Doolittle
Radiohead – OK Computer
Fugazi – Thirteen Songs
Them – Them
Aceyalone – A Book of Human Language
Sonic Youth – Goo
Lungfish – Pass and Stow
Beck – Mellow Gold
Talking Heads – Stop Making Sense
Built to Spill- Keep it Like a SecretI never realized I had so many favorite albums, and I even could have kept going. Oh well.
i don’t have the album, but I saw them live last year, they opened for Motorhead, and they rocked my sweet ass almost as hard as Lemmey did.
I’m going to have to go with Fugazi "The Argument" for my favorite album of the year. Its only been out for a few weeks, but it’s incredible. Amnesiac is pretty up there too.
