Hand it Over… an underrated classic!
First time I heard it I couldn’t make anything out, just whining and sludge, but then I grew to love whining and sludge (and that cheesy trumpet!)Hmm, I voted for Lou Barlow he does some great melodic stuff on the 1st two records and some neat fills. I don’t mind him on the Dinosaur records but I REALLY REALLY can’t listen to his Sebadoh stuff anymore… They used to be my favourite band but I guess I burned them out and sold all his records…

EDIT: Both times I saw J & The Fog Watt carried himself off admirably though.
I think the lyric : "I need god beside me, piled deep in sludge" from Back Before You Go would indicate he doesn’t take it all too seriously…
