fyi, londoners … selectadisc has the cd for £8.99
also the best internet deal i’ve seen so far is on opalmusic.com … they have it for £8.49 plus p + p (£1.00 in the uk and not so much more for elsewhere) … and they ship worldwide as well …

the bbc has a HUGE archive of many bands … and at the bottom right corner of the link i mentioned is a box where you can vote for your dream ticket – ie, the shows and the bands you’d like to hear … like if you wanted to hear the stooges tribute from dec 02 — or last year’s performance at all tomorrow’s parties – or whatever show then you could vote for it … you know ?
i guess i just figured that if enough people from freakscene voted to hear j – whether it be dinosaur jr, with the fog, solo or side project like the stooges tribute – that they’d play one of his shows …
does that make sense now ?

j + mike’s common depression/cynical attitude towards life must have helped them be friends and successful bandmates b/c they knew where eachother was coming from … + i can’t really see j wanting to be in a band w/someone who was v.bubbly
… as far as mike saying that he didn’t like dinosaur jr’s music … i’m sure a more accurate statement would be that he prefers writing and playing his own music and dinosaur jr was more to do w/j’s style than his own …

where are you bob ? if you order it in the uk it say it’s 9.99gbp … and i live in london … if you want i can pick you up a copy and post it to you … i’m sure it won’t cost that much – even by airmail …
