thanks for that deepsludge …
pretty scary stuff though
…good thinking anthony …
i agree – sometimes it can take a live performance to turn you onto a song/album/performer/whatever …
so jaydee … now get into it !!!!

thanks … those pix were pretty cool
… i liked no 8 w/j and matt and also the one of george the best …i think the shaky image problem was more a case of the shutter speed being too slow … if it was a point-and-shoot and the light wasn’t very good, then i’m not sure there was much he/she could have done to prevent that (except next time buy a higher speed of film !!
) … but it was a cool effect anyhow … especially on the one w/george b/c you could see the vibration of the cymbal and the action of the drum sticks pretty well

what’s the patriot act

hey, those are definitely great pix … thanks

hey ruethewhirl, you should add this to the list of different interview questions to ask j – wherever that is
…great ! many thanks for the info

my copies
of more light don’t have that bonus single … which country was that released in ?oh boy ! parents are like that … when i moved out my mom threw out all my old mags /// and /// all my old 7"s as well
… it’s become a goal of mine to try and buy them back from ebay etc … but it’s still a major bummer

hey, that concert chronology website is great ! …
he definitely missed out the london garage show the day after the brixton academy show in 1994 …
i had just permanently moved to london and i bought 2 tix to see dinosaur jr at the brixton academy … one for me and one for my soon-to-be-husband … he plays guitar and is really into guitar bands, but he had never seen j + co live … we went to the show but we didn’t think it was that spectacular due to the bad sound they have in there … v.echoey … which was a total bummer … anyhow as we were leaving these people were handing out fliers and they said dinosaur jr were going to be playing a secret show the next night at the garage (think i still have the fliers somewhere in storage), which was on the same road where we were living at the time (in fact even now it’s just a 15 min walk away) … anyhow … you couldn’t buy tix in advance b/c it had just been announced so there was a bunch of us all lined up against the wall just waiting for the doors to open and hoping we’d get in … and we did and we stood right in front of j the whole time and it was just AMAZING … and from that point on my husband was converted into a j fan

what’s the "alien workshop" ?
Quote:Then the shit started hitting the fan?"Exactly. And then the mic started going up his butt."
oh dear !!!

…. it’s funny how j always seems happier/more at ease/more forthcoming with his answers or whatever you want to call it when he’s not answering questions about his music
Quote:A lot of times I sing from somebody else’s point of view, like someone I know their reaction towards me or what I think they’re thinking about me or just different things.that’s pretty cool to know … someone around here mentioned that before, but i didn’t think it was true …
and yep … j sounds a bit down in this interview … hopefully things are looking up a bit more for him now …
cool thanks ! sorry it’s taken me so long to reply … my computer went a bit insane or something when i was away and we only got our internet up and running last sunday and our email only a few mins ago … and we got back from our US hol on the 20th of may !!! … ugh
…June 4, 2003 at 4:36 pm in reply to: Pictures from the May 24 J- Cobra Verde show in Brooklyn #93829hey squeapler … many thanks for the link to these cool pix … and many thanks for keeping us all informed of all things cv … and now cv w/j too
… maybe one day (soon?) they’ll make it over to the UK ? -
