yeah … i was kind of busy last night (or not!) … had some free time on my hands … decided to look at some old sites … i’m sure most of them have been posted before and i wouldn’t want to bore anyone or saturate this forum w/old info, but it’s fun checking out what people have written in the past and some of them seem worth a 2nd (or maybe 3rd ??) post b/c they’re a cut above the rest, you know

like simmons and flying cloud have pointed out, it depends on what kind of music he’s/she’s into … quiet vs loud, pop vs punk, happy vs sad etc …
how about every time he/she comes over or goes for a ride in your car put another one on and let them make up their own mind

yeah … that’s v.cool … i like the one looking out into the crowd too … makes a change to see everything from another perpective
hey karius … i have that "what the fuck?" 7" too … it’s pretty cool and has a nice cover w/the big dinosaur on the front and the contrasty green/black image of murph, j and lou on the back … they look so young !! … j has some scary mangled hair too and at that time it wasn’t long all over … just touching his collar in fact !
i have 2 other 7"s that i haven’t seen mentioned here (but maybe i missed them?)
one called radio rucus w/some weird jesus type guy and a monster on the front and on the back is an early pic of j, murph and lou (the one w/j wearing the deep wound sweater which is also listed in the "our band could be your life" book as an early sst promo photo)
the songs are chunks and freak scene and the label is all white w/no writing whatsoever
there’s an address on the back between the song titles

and there’s a cartoon like drawing of j and lou and i guess murph (although no offence to craig ibarra, it doesn’t look a whole lot like murph)
on the back it lists the 3 tracks : quest (5:10) keep the glove (2:19) in a jar (3:32)
and it also says all songs by j.mascis
