ChunksGreat gig which a bit of rucking and heavy handed bouncers couldn’t ruin. Lou apologised for the oldies and said they’d be back in the year to play the new album. J said "wooh" a lot inbtween songs. Saw Kevin Sheilds in the middle. New Farm snail T-shirt looked fab. And if anyone is going to see the Fall tonight there ARE tubes operating on the Victoria and Northern Lines.
J’s rig schematic has just wiped every PowerPoint presentation regarding the "difficult times we now face" from my Memory, Man! Thank you.
Sounds more than pretty good to these cloth ears. That riff is incredible. Thought Beyond was great but if the new album hit’s this standard all the way through this is going to be the album we all wanted after "Bug"!

To add, there was also a promo CD for the tour which I won on good-ole GLR (more corrupt than the Blears). I’ve just dug it out and it’s got a great live version of “The Post”. Don’t know when or where it’s from the booklet just says “recent American tour”.
Saw ’em at Brixton on this tour – really good idea very badly executed! Rotating line up every night , night I went Dinosaur on first (at about 7pm!), then Blur, then MBV, then J&MC. Just imagine how out of place Blur sounded (“one of the kids is doing his own thing!) they sounded like Wham
MBV had the worse sound of all time with the vocals WAY up. Pretty much the whole of the (4,000) audience left the auditorium for the outside bar when they did Realise.Dinosaur blew the other bands away (which nobody at all expected – they were not IN then) as they weren’t touring an album they pretty much played all of YLAOM.
