i agree dave schools is bad ass. the question was more like a too-good to be true thing…..it was a dream come true to get to see watt jam with j…and it all makes sense now remembering that schools is a watt fan and watt use to play w/ j and dave lives in athens…etc., etc. etc. the first widespread album is an all-time classic in my book…and never being a fan of the huge arena camp-out type shows widespread does, never got to see them live..(i like the up-close clubs)…..so no need to defend schools, it just blew my mind………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

thank you so much. that’s one of the few officially released dino release i haven’t heard. i downloaded "the pickle song" and just cracked up. wondered what use it could be.

take a run at the sun was just a single? was that song for a soundrack or something? was it before or after ‘hand it over’? if it was after, i guess it was the last official release with the dino name, huh.

yeah, j and watt was probably the loudest show i’ve ever seen. was at the cotton club in atlanta, which is wide but not very deep. i mean, one of the loudest bass players touring with one of the loudest guitarists. it was awesome. i used earplugs through most of the show. took em out for the first couple songs and the last couple, just to get a feel for the unadulterated sound, and boy was it loud. too bad i missed the athens show this time. i’m sure it’s still loud w/o watt. someone let me know what kind of bassin’ this new guy is doin.
