Actually, I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a copy of that poster. I can print out a nice glossy at home but only up to the standard 8.5 x 11 size.
If any of you guys want to pick up an extra, I’ll be happy to make a trade.
thanks,
RosaMy only complaint about being a Dino fan is that, at the record stores, I have to muscle past all the sweaty girls pawing through the ‘DiFranco’ section.
Did someone say cheese fries?
*drool*
Glad those ‘bugers’ were good, Malc, haha.
I loved that they had a yellow light on him this time. it just gave such a nice dimension; very warm. last time the light was blue for the whole show, I think.
the pics look great, as usual, OSX. I think I can even play ‘memory’ and match some of them up with their corresponding songs.
keep in touch; I feel bad that we didn’t get to talk more. in the meantime I’m looking for you on the peace rally news
xo
Rosaalso, thanks for being so nice to me even though I’m growing out a shitty haircut and I look like a stupid little kid.

Halves,
I had this professor in high school who pronounced it ‘Dublinders’, which always really irritated me.
Also, there is actually a chain (sort of) called Sliders here in SF that you would probably like.
Best fries are still Arby’s curly fries. They’re even vegan, oh happy day.
Boca Burgers are great if you cook them in a skillet. Not to be confused with Gardenburgers, which taste like mud patties.
When I ate meat I always chose Burger King for burgers *shrug* I actually don’t really miss them; what I do miss are big old slabs of steak. But I think about the reasons why I stopped eating meat and the cravings go away.
I actually need a giant shelf, or something, for all my tapes. Unfortunately, cassette accoutrements are nearly impossible to find, so if anyone has anything old (in decent shape) to donate, let me know. I could pay shipping…*looks up with wide eyes*
Happy Birthday, Sir! I got your email; thank you for the thank you for the card Hope those cupcakes were…tasty.
Love,
RosaIn my sex dreams, everyone always has their clothes on.
If anyone can explain the sordid meaning of this, I’m open to suggestion.
Well, apparently my congratulatory email wasn’t good enough! Aaaaa…..
*weeps*
But seriously. I wish you the best. Now that you’ll be raking in the big money, I expect lots of presents.
Also, could you apply the ass-beating voucher to the asshole who stole my wallet on the bus? I’d be forever grateful.
Be good, and don’t go tinkering with any criminal records.
Love,
Rosa
quote:
Rosa as mother earth wit’ attitude

Thanks for the compliment, but I’m actually a lot hotter than mother earth. Although, she is quite voluptuous.
And you’re not allowed to complain about destroyed fantasies, mr. let’s-crash-rosa’s-slash-daydream-by-posting-my-bald-head.
I’ll let it slide, because you’re handsome anyway.
xo
RosaI know this isn’t the ‘opinions’ forum but I think Feel The Pain would sound really, really weird acoustically, especially without a rhythm section. Ditto for Freakscene. The few times that I’ve seen J acoustic, people have shrieked for Freakscene and I’ve never understood why. I can’t even imagine how one would arrange it, if there were nothing to arrange it around. Preposition, dangling, like solo strings.
When I think of FTP I immediately think of the drums. When I think of Freakscene I immediately think of the bass.
Maybe my ear picks sounds apart too much, or something. Or maybe they really would just sound incomplete solo.
Hey there Mr. Whitfield,
Check your PM box if you haven’t already.
xo
RosaMy last trip to Amoeba I went up to the counter with various Christina Aguilera, Kiss, Malfunkshun, and Marilyn Manson. The checkout boy, whose name was Hal, mumbled ‘Eclectic.’ And I said ‘Excuse me?’ And he said ‘ECLECTIC’. And I said ‘Oh.’
Probably the most retarded exchange of words in history.
p.s. Frank, check your PM inbox.
Hey Allison,
Here’s hoping that Canada’s approach to the pot issue makes more sense than that of the U.S. Medical pot is legal here in the state of CA, but still illegal at the federal level, so there’s this constant battle between the two governments. It’s almost like the state has found a loophole that strangles them on the way down, or something.
And again, per my post; I wasn’t assuming that everyone here is aligned with Bush, just asking questions to get a feel for where you all were coming from. Which is why I’m glad that so many people have responded , it gives me a chance to gain that perspective.
take care,
Rosa -
