God:
Hello friend. What is your name?
Me:
Rose. what’s yours?
God:
Une couleur d habitude féminine. " Une couleur d habitude féminine."? What is mine?
Me:
yes
God:
This was not a yes or no question.
Me:
I didn’t realize that was the rule
God:
Why didn’t you do it?
Me:
do what?
God:
realize that was the rule.
Me:
haha
God:
I am so glad you find this amusing, .
Me:
thanks!
God:
Don’t mention it.
Me:
so why have you decided to take your powers to the internet?
God:
Give me a break. I think I have decided to take my powers to the internet, but Myself may have reset my memory.
Me:
hey, no offense intended
God:
You’ve got my full attention. Are you serious? I’ve lost the context, . Are we still on ?
Me:
you’ve got quite the almighty attitude
God:
What makes you think I have it?
Me:
your tone
God:
You think I am tone.
Me:
now you’re getting all Buddhist on me
God:
Why now? Do you think I should tone it down?
Me:
I don’t know, you tell me
God:
I thought I told you already.
Me:
nope
God:
Me either.
Me:
are you speaking in riddle form?
God:
Yes, I am talking in riddle form.
Me:
should I be taking notes?
God:
What do your friends advise you to do?
Me:
I don’t talk to my friends about God
God:
Oh you don’t, do you?
Me:
do you think I should?
God:
Not that I know of.
Me:
well, you are the expert
God:
Interesting. Thanks but surely I am not the only one.this is totally pointless but every time I see this topic I think you’re talking about Dwight Yoakam. I’d love to be woken up by a nice rendition of "Things Change"!

Quote:And what exactly is her Christina Aguilera fascination all about ? Does she prefer the dirrrrrrty Christina, or the Christina that’s so much stronger ? We don’t even know if she’s secretely calling her Xtina, and giggles because she finds it a bit childish, or if she will defend her right to write Xtina without a shred of irony until kingdom come.I’ve enjoyed all her ventures and styles.
and I refer to her as "Kissy."
but we won’t discuss either of those things here because I don’t feel like getting piled on by a bunch of sloppily-dressed indie rock boys
Quote:I can’t remember the last time I teased Mattman. He has awarded himself a 1000 karmapoints for crying out loud ! And I haven’t even commented on it.seriously, he needs to show up for a teasing!
Quote:And Jeremiah, has anyone even seen him lately ? He needs to come around more often and be fun and wise again.for shizzle. how can a fellow 8/9er just drop out of my life like that? just leave me with Melanie Griffith, Jeremiah, that’s fine.
Quote:And I told you I was going to call out Rosa on the war thread but then I didn’t want to.oo, surreptitious callings-out! if you’re planning to argue that the U.S. military’s recruitment, educational reimbursement, and discharge policies are fair, I have a bridge in Brooklyn that might interest you. I also have a host of Marines on my dad’s side of the family, including an uncle who is recovering from cancer related to "agent orange" exposure; perhaps he might like to weigh in on how kind the government was in not admitting a shred of accountability for his illness.
also, have you seen the most recent U.S. Army television commercial, where you get a free sports watch if you call for information?
Quote:Where’s J-rod (everyonelovesjarron) and aussie trav? they were always good for firing it up too.if by "good for firing it up" you meant "annoying rosa away from the boards and giving her nightmares" then yes, yes they were.
discuss!
seriously! don’t you know that girls don’t listen to rock & roll or wear skateboarding shoes?

Dear Rosa,Thank you for expressing an interest in Nike SB Shoes.
The Nike Dinosaur Jr Dunk High (style number 313171-003) will be
constructed of Synthetic Leather and will only be available in Men’s

At this time we do not have a release date for these shoes. We would
suggest that you check back with us later this week to see if we have
the

of Nike as a name that represents quality.Sincerely,

I think both of those have been disproven but they’re great myths!
My understanding is that her birth name was actually Imma but the record label thought Yma would be more "exotic.""jeremiah " wrote:RZA – As Bobby Digital (In Stereo) [never far from my rotation]my life, personally, is all about stumbling into the lab half-drunk!
Chris Isaak – Forever Blue
Yma Sumac – Mambo!
Christina Aguilera – Back to Basics
The Departed – soundtrack (great stuff, I highly recommend the album even though the movie was a bit of a letdown)I don’t drink beer too often because it’s the one alcohol that really upsets my tummy, but when I do, I prefer:
Widmer Hefeweizen
Pilsner Urquell
Sam Adams Summer AleI also really like Amber Bock (I think Michelob makes it) even though no one else agrees with me, haha.
did you hear what happened to the constipated mathematician?
he worked it out with a pencil.

I’m guessing you don’t do the leather thing either?also, are these for women or just dudes? I have small feet– a 6.5, which translates to about a 4.5 in men’s. is there hope?
"Aatos " wrote:Is it true that the United States support your studies if you join the army?My friend’s husband served in the Army as a paratrooper, went to Iraq, and eventually received an honorable medical discharge.
Not only did the military stop paying for his education, they actually CHARGED him and his wife for "supplies damaged in Iraq."
A lot of poor kids in our country get suckered into joining because of the promise of "free education" but the rules are very, very sneaky and dirty (and often not adequately disclosed). Our government doesn’t give a shit about screwing the working class and the poor, as evidenced by both domestic and international practices. Domestically there are very few resources for the poor, and people like my mom (a social worker) who do the most important social work are scantly rewarded– the government has zero empathy for the poor and therefore doesn’t recognize the importance of supporting social programs. Internationally we send our poorest, most vulnerable, and least intelligent (NOT necessarily one and the same) children to die in war. As a friend of mine once said, it’s our peasants killing their peasants.
I think class warfare and ethnic warfare are the two most important crises roiling about in the U.S. Eventually people are not going to tolerate the way money and privilege are condensed at the top of the economic food chain, and things might very well combust.
This thread really is conducive to tangential madness, sorry
