Quote:Maybe it was just pushed back like ANOTHER dvd I’m waiting for.
funny that, isn’t it.
Quote:Does anyone have their DVD? (excuse me, I used to be a huge weezer fan)yea, i love that dvd, great stuff. there were plans for a new one of live music from the make believe 2005 tour around asia but ive heard nothing about it since it was announced late last year. I love the Pink Triangle official video with their live footage from reading 96′. and the bootleg of them playing at reading 96′ is freaking good.

Being the total collector nerd that I am, I need to set this straight:
it’s from the Batschkapp, Frankfurt, 26 October 1988 – the Bonn show was not filmed. The only time Dinosaur played in Bonn was on the previous day, 25 October which was only broadcast on radio…
oh, and Dinosaur have not toured Europe before the fall of 1987. So it can’t be from 1986. This clip, along with 2 others, is also available on freesofree.net.he’s lying

i love my mexican white strat
i think a good idea if you’re embarresed or you hate your lyrics is to make sure they aren’t personal. If they are personal you start worrying if people interpret the real theme. Maybe if thats the case you should just try some weird or wacky lyrics. as long as it sounds good its k. they dont have to be meaningful
"punk rock means freedom" you can make whatever sounds good to you. just because you got 30 people at your gig and Green Day got 200,000 doesn’t mean your a worse song writer, your technique is just less commercial. it can sound sloppy but as long as it has a bit of emotion or passion in it, you’re not doing too bad.
Quote:I mean come on! No one in the 80’s used wah pedals! Dinosaur Jr brought back the guitar solo as well. How many emo bands really play the kind of solo’s you hear on Dinosaur Jr’s records? None!too right no one solos like Dino Jr do.
pete docherty annoys me. i cant see how he’s a good artist
Quote:FLIPPER!!,lol i loved that "hahaha" song…awesome
Quote:They were doing double bass playing on some songs.weird…any other bands that have two bassists?
Quote:I’ve been playing for about 6 years now…. just curious how long have u guys been playing roughly?i’ve only been playing for 2 years, which is nothing compared to most of you guys.
Nirvana’s "Nevermind" got me into music, then about 3 years later of discovering music (mostly Nirvana) i wanted to play the songs i loved (which at the time was mostly Nirvana again lol). So i guess it was mostly Kurt Cobain that influenced me to pick up a guitar. After learning many Nirvana songs i started discovering loads of other music and now i have albums by 244 different bands now. I know he’s hated by a lot of people but if it weren’t for old Kurt or "Nevermind" i wuda been a totally different person, probably a "chav" or a "townie" or a "jock" wateva you call them wherever you live.
