I picked a copy of it up in Camden the other day. I’d forgotten about it until then, and it made my day (on top of getting dreadlocks). Mike Watt’s backing vocals are great, a lot better than when I saw them live. Good stuff.

Hand it Over was the first album i heard by j as well. i remember buying it second hand at the nearest cd store to my college. i sat in my art room listeing to it and was so impressed. i’d never heard something so heavily distorted yet beautiful sounding. i’d never heard such heartfelt vocals and guitar playing. it was love at first listen. Hand it Over is an amazing record.
