Madonna? no way..i cant believe it..
erm..what gets my body moving..?
squarepusher’s drum n bass tracks
mogwai, when they get oh-so heavy..(cant stop swaying)
nirvana’s teen spirit – when im pissed and at some shit rock club..just out of nostalgia
chemical brothers – most of their tracks
Richard D James – live, how can u not move to this? (unless u stand there in awe)
underworld – cowgirl, tip top tune (i cant believe i said ‘tune’)that’ll do for now..
that solo in Kracked, the build up to it and the execution get me every time, the wailing intensity of it all is just so mesmerising..
i also have ‘charged’
and i also think it rocks..
i missed them at reading, very dissapointing..Aphex Twin – Drukqs ; go on, you know u wanna buy it. goddammit, why can no-one else see the genius of it all…
im goin to see him tomorrow, how lucky am i? along with Plaid, Mira Calix, Leila, Anti-Pop Consortium amongs a few others.
you’re all so jealous.
i can tell.
J was in ‘Rock Sound’ magazine talking about slipknot and korn some time last year..cant remember what he said..something like ‘ ive heard a band named ‘korn’ are good, maybe i should check them out ‘ …
here are some more of mine:
Aphex Twin – Drukqs ;album of the year, totally amazing, individual and mind-boggling – buy it and see!
Boards of Canada – Music has the Right to Children
Leila – Courtesy of Choice
dEUS – worst case scenario
Howie B – Turn the Dark off
Alec Empire – Generation Star Wars
Mouse on Mars – Ideology
Beastie Boys – The in Sound from Way Out!
Autechre – Black
Chris Cornell – Euphoria Morning
Sunna – One Minute Scienceu really think Kid A and Amnesiac are boring?
i do believe u need to give them more of a chance. those two albums are much more groundbreaking than their previous albums, and just as intricate. i dont understand radiohead fans who dislike kid a, i thought they were some of the more open-minded people around..
come on, Pyramid Song is amazing, as are Knives Out, Idioteque and I Might be Wrong…admit it…ditto.
coldplay are just as annoying and boooooooring too…they really are.
"i already don’t like a one of them" ?!?!?!
that dont make a hint of sense bonzo.
hmm, i dont have many places to compare it to..but kent is full of weird people, mostly real shit-heads. bexley’s cool tho…

Smashing Pumpkins – Pisces Iscariot – kind of ironic to put Cobain’s wife eating a cherry on an album about how he sold out his generation. I like irony.

thats a picture of James Iha on the front isn’t it? And how is it about kurt? i thought it was just a collection of rarities and B-sides to bridge the gap between siamese dream and Mellon Collie..my dad listens to radiohead..and pearl jam…and soundgarden…and nirvana. my mum does too..cool parents ay…?
i like the cover to Mogwai – Come on Die Young; very scary face indeed..
sappy (windsurfer)
:O)i normally have the bass at full (5:00), i think it brings out the bass well. then also i have the treble up a bit more than 12:00, this is so the bass doesnt totally drown out the treble.
i never used to really notice the bass in music when i was younger though, so i reckon i make up for it by having loud bass now..or maybe i just enjoy my eardrums getting a beating… -
