definitely with.
YLAOM.
Bug.
even Dinosaur.
above and beyond all of the rest. i’m sure i upset some people by saying Dinosaur is one of their best, but it is hard to beat Repulsion, Bulbs of Passion, and Forget the Swan.
i do like the post Lou stuff, but it just doesn’t hold a candle in my opinion.
I will however be wearing pants.
I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
March 31, 2006 at 9:44 pm in reply to: Dallas Review, looks like a little tension at the end. #115695fisticuffs? is this true? barlow and murph (not sure about j) have all said how much of a family atmosphere there is in the band now. fist fighting on stage does not sound like family time to me.
the freed pig is awesome!
there is another song that is a total dis track called gimmie indie rock that is awesome as well.
hand it over? really?….
to each their own i guess.
i just emailed domino records the other day (the label doing the re-issue). they told me that it is going to be a summer release with a date to be announced, which is a bummer because at the record store where i work it is listed in the computer as having a April 11. I was really excited for like five minutes… then I had to go and email domino. so, just a few more months till sebadoh III, plus all of the bonus goodness.
i wouldn’t consider it hair metal. more stoner/psych. when i hear hair metal i think poison and cinderella. i have the album, it’s pretty awesome, but i’m into that type of music. if you like Dead Meadow (which I highly recommend) I think you’ll like it. Witch sounds somewhat like them, but heavier.
what about Forget the Swan? this is one of my absolute favorite dinosaur songs… but I like Lou quite a bit.
the part where J comes in is just amazing. one of the few dinosaur songs my girlfriend really likes.thanks! I really appreciate it. I’m gonna check out that website. I’m trying to track down a few other "semi-official" bootlegs that I saw listed on a couple of places.
anyone know if it is available on cd?
