Oh man….I dunno! <img>
Honestly – Ovation was the first name to come to mind. I would have said "a fancy Martin" but…well…that would have been kind of stupid for obvious reasons!
Ovations sound great! But I just can’t go with a guitar that won’t stay on my lap! <img> Those damn round backs!
Plus I was jabbing at price tags, not quality.
At any rate..I meant to say that I couldn’t see J playing a brand new guitar with a fresh glue smell. It was great to see him rock an old guitar – and he didn’t even bother to trim the strings! Surprised he didn’t poke someone’s eye out…..
maybe the silly "sasquatch" bastard that jumped on stage for the pic?!?! That would have been great!

ShaneGet me. Duh! Oh did I say…Get me? Damn, thats just a gorgeous rippin solo all the way through. Amazing. I also love the intro solo in Grab It. I love the dive bome whammy slam into the noise, gorgeous. There are so many tasteful solos I cant even begin.

And while Im on here, I noticed that George was here, I’d like to say hi. I met you out back of 328 Perf. Hall when you came through Nashville in March. I remeber your tale of getting a piece of the stadium as memorabilia when you saw Black Sabbath. Anyway, the show was beyond my dreams…thanks for the memory’s. And as a fellow drummer I enjoyed bs’ing with you about the Vistalites. If I find a set they are mine! I am a huge Bonham fan as well…and damn did they sound great! Be a neat set to fool around with. Thats one biug ass kick drum! Later bro, hope to see you down south again!

I know, I know…it would be to much to ask to hear the new Fog tunes. I just remember how amped up I was to hear them a few years ago on Freakscene, months before they were released. Sure, they ended up on Napster and a lot of people burnt CD’s (oh my, I am guilty of this as well)….but guess what? I went the DAY it came out and supported the band by buying the actual CD. I love J.’s music so much, its no problem at all. I can’t wait to hear the new tunes….just cant wait. I’ll be sure to check here from time to time to catch a release date. Keep em rollin fellas!
We racked up on stuff when J. came to Nashville. We met the band, got our ticket stubs autographed. J. personally handed me a worn pick. My friends grabbed the set list and all kinds of other silly stuff from the stage…water bottles, purple masking tape, you name it. They went a little overboard. But I was so damned happy to meet J. The pick was in my pocket for good luck while my band was recording our first CD. I’ll cherish that and the auto forever. Really made my day!

AWESOME! Great pics and very informative review. Thanks for sharring. The pics brought back memories of the Nashville show a few weeks ago. Wish I could catch him more often.

I’d also like to get in touch with the guys responsible for recording the Nashville show. I saw a guy right in front of me who was wearing a mic on the bill of his hat. I meant to talk to him but never got the chance. Please get in touch with me so we can work something out – if the recording came out I’d dure like to get a copy.
