I would also like to do some voluntary communal work, but I realise it is a bit difficult when I live in Norway…
A guy there said he had decided to do his own promoting of the album, because he was quite frustrated and angry by the fact that there was no promoting of the album in Europe and the album was’nt even realsed in Europe.
the guy was obviously a fan, so whatelse could I do than just say: "that’s the spirit…"

In norway, Europe "Ear Bleeding Country" is imported from the us. When the cd hit the stores in Norway, the biggest cd store in the country put the cd in the Bestseller-rack among with artists like Pink and Eminem. I was quite suprised to see this and had to ask the people working there how this could be, and tell them that there obviously had been a mistake.

It will cost me some bucks to go and I also have a job to attend to so it might be a bit difficult for me to travel .
Anyway, if J’s new album is set to be released in october/september then there’s a big chance that he will include norway/denmark/sweden in his futuristic european tour..
I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
It be cool to see him drag an acoustic guitar again to sweden.

I’ve seen J one time in Oslo, but I am planning to visit Biefield Germany when he comes there in August. No tour in Europe this summer, but I cross my fingers for next year.
iggy pop is on tonight in oslo at a festival called norwegian wood. he steps in for Tool who withdraw.
this is a preshow before iggy starts his summertour.

Right after the J mascis and the Fog concert in Oslo 16th of 2001, my sister talked a little to George Berz. Beside congratuling him with a great concert she also asked some about the current tour.
George said it actually were some Norwegian students in Australia who had "talked" J & co into coming to Norway. <img>Since they’ve already have been in Oslo once, I would think there’s a possibillity of seing them here again sooner or later. But I doubt it will be more than a trio, due to practical and economic matters <img>
