The Boombox Dilemma

Q: Hi! This is Kjell again. Sorry to waste your time. I’ve got a little hypothetical dilemma for you here:

You are stranded on a timber raft in the pacific ocean (very lonely!), stuck with only a boombox (no radio) and two mixtapes. The first tape is named "Best of Sebadoh", and the second one is "Pavement – The classic years".

Because of serious weight / sinking issues, you have to throw one of the tapes into the ocean.

there is a lot of seventies/eighties rock riffin’ on this album. plus the usual folk/country style.
I like crumble a lot too. the refrain reminds me of a song on Hand it Over, "Mick". probably the same chords. same as the solo on "Back before yugo".
great album. Wonder what songs will be played live. J only has two hands for his guitar, but he can switch between riffs and solo and chords like he does on Barlows LOOSE. ALLRIGHT.
Go buy the album.

when all comes to all, I always fall back on Dinosaur/J’s music. there were times I was critical to J’s voice, but the new album talks to my feelings. As always, that is part of what makes a persons favorite band. One don’t have to be 16 to feel music is speaking emotionally.

yeah, things come and go. the other day there was a footage of dinosaur jr playing Out there on the Letterman show back in 1993.
maybe the management has taken it of air, to let dinosaur be the only focus for the fans. probably not.
