thanks for the info, I’ll have to check that out when I have the time.
The task manager is good, but not for novices like me. I want to see what programs are doing stuff, not just al;sdfjk.exe

check you later

Yeah, kim is cracking my ass up… she’s so honest its sweet.
My new nom de plume: loop de loop

ok, no worries- there are a bunch of listenings, + 1 established– how do I look a lil further?

How do I take a screen shot and show you what it looks like ? all the listenings say foriegn address: a folder of mine… the established says 66.197.141.120:http:….
I do love a bit of intrigue!
I deleted cookies, and it went away… now to see if the download speeds improve… off to freesofree!
Fuck.. no improvement to speak of, no viruses….?
Habla ingles?

I know jack about ‘puters+ i just updated virus scan and its not showing anything, I think its something I did, just cant figger out it could be…
Also, I did something awhile back that when I run disk cleanup, empty files, now it is always emptying files, even w/out me telling it to… im thinking about going back to a simpler time with system restore and just forgetting about it, but dont know how to backup all the music ive downloaded since then…

Its also good to hear J himself is doing the remastering… sometimes people screw it up pretty good. Like "Imagine" remastered PERSONALLY! by YOKO ONO!…
Like SHE was the one who people wanted to listen to… I dont know, it just sounds too quiet for some reason… too much Japanese sensibility…WTF?! Has anyone been there before? I looked at the website and saw major dinero to attend… whats the d/l on it? any tricks or anything? can you just attend shows show by show???
February 20, 2004 at 12:10 pm in reply to: Northampton, MA on April 30 (J, Sonic Youth, Sebadoh + more) #99220Dude, if you contacted the schools computer whiz department, they might be able to help with EVERYTHING! They could probably have access to the journalism departments film stuff, or you could probably contact them directly… They might also already be doing something… like the 3 song amherst vid… but yeah, if you called up the IT dept., asked around… taxpayer money is a beautiful thing for high tech stuff
, AND if you called, got some help lined up, you could contact the school itself, for any help… good PR for the benefit, good PR for the school… public relations dept., PM me if you need any grunt work, like calling and getting the people’s names and #’s that would, could help, it might be easier for someone who’s going to talk to them first hand, though… Arkansas is a long way…Yeah, ive always been kinda bummed that he gave the sticker one to the R’n’R hall of fame… it’s like, fuck, at least wait till you cant play it anymore! So much fuzz left to be fuzzed!

That is a cool looking guitar, though, hope it does him well!
Thanks, DEN BUCK

I’ll post this here, see if anybody replies; if not, make a seperate thread…
Ive got about 15+/- Dino shows on Cassette tape, have transferred about half of them to wav/shn, and am tired of it
…anybody who wants these shows, say so and I can send them to you..
only thing is, you gotta promise to finish the job and get them on Freesofree…
Ive also got 2 videos, austin and germany ’88 w/ a crazy setlist; if its right, ive never heard any of these:
1 Inst.
2
3 what did you say
4 dont let it wait
5
6 waiting for me
7 B6
8 bad times
9 inst
10 I will dieI really want to keep these vids, so you would pretty much have to send me a hooker to get them out of my hands

its really not hard at all to transfer audio to digital, you just need a:
1 tape player with a pre-amp- your standard stereo tape player, but not a all in one job, cuz theres no output other than speakers
2 a 2 rca to mini jack cable, radio shack has them for 6 or 7$..
3 software… for recording the tape to wav —- http://www.homepages.hetnet.nl/~mjmlooijmans/cdwave/”>http://www.homepages.hetnet.nl/~mjmlooijmans/cdwave/ its free for 30 days… 15$ to register
for converting the wav to shn

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS or you’ll probably click OK when you shouldnt.4 a little how to site

So, who says what?

PS i posted this in this thread cuz I figured it would make an all right addition to a vine….
MANJA! thanks
look up bit torrent on google, ill try and remember the link I saw, but I think you install something(a bit torrenter
) and someone opens up their computer and you grab it… similar to file sharing?Im on dial up so Im happy as fuck about the vines/trees and all the b&p offers that are on it…such a huge amount of artists…
i know, I meant I had heard lyrics different than I had read off there, I was talking about doing a project to update them…

Im not sure about the line, but one project ive been thinking about for when im really bored is to go to your site, download everything(in the process now), come here, transfer all the lyrics to my computer, and go through all the songs alphabetically and listen to them live with the (official) lyrics in front of me and try and get the lyrics right as best I can, some of them Ive heard a clearer version of a song and made them out better, the live shows acoustic and otherwise you can hear them pretty good sometimes…
