Very possible. I know that J has an extensive plush animal collection. He used to have them all over his bed when he was a kid and he has them featured in the Little Fury Thing video. Also his cow tshirt is based off of one of his toys I beleive. Kinda weird for a full grown heterosexual man to own young children’s toys.
Yr damn right it’s immature. It’s a Tim Allen movie for cryin’ out loud! It’s a child’s film. It’s like watching the Little Mermaid or something, only not as good as Little Mermaid. That was a good kid’s movie. Ariel is fuckin’ hot. Damn, I need a girlfriend, cuz that’s just pathetic. But seriously, isn’t Ariel hot?

Absolutely true! I like Dino’s first album. It’s a solid debut. But let’s face it, the sound wa abit weak and the recording was not mixed very well. It could have used a lot more distortion. besides, the band is in better shape now than they were 20 years ago (musically anyway, J’s pretty chubby) and they are more focused now more than ever.
It’s cool that even after years of tension and animosity between J and Lou they were still able to check each other’s shows out. It shows that people can get over the differences and reunite!!!!
I know for a fact that Lou still smokes the green. Not sure about Murph, although he used to be a stoner. I know J has gotten high and drank in the past. Not so sure now. I saw him nursing a beer in Boston at their shows in December of ’05. Other than that I don’t know. I have heard some rumors that J had a booze problem. I guess that would explain the large belly and skinny legs. I mean look at the man for Christ’s sake! He’s gained a lot of weight and he looks like shit. J’s gotta get his shit together or he’ll have a heart attack in the middle of a show.
The screaming is definitley Lou Barlow. The first verse/chorus is sung by J and Lee Ranaldo. End of discussion!
You seriously don’t like the first track off of BtS’ OUY? I’m pretty surprised. I think it’s one of the best songs on the whole album.
There is absolutely no way that Dinosaur Jr were the originators of emo. Rites of Spring are largely considered to be the godfathers of emo. emo is a sissy offspring of hardcore punk. Dinosaur Jr is not sissy.
First of all, i would give you the thumbs up if i saw/heard you blasting some Dino. I’m the only person I know who actually does blast Dino in cars. Second of all, fuck the current "hip" music. It sucks. Fuck the record industry, they just want money.
There is only talk from Lou that they are recording a new album. He has psted on his website a couple months ago that he was flying out to meet the rest of the band to start recording. SO I assume that it wil probably be about another 9 months or so. Don’t know how long the recording seesions will take. Then of course there is the editing process, the record contracts, pressing the records, promoting the album etc. Don’t be expecting it any time soon. It’s still in it’s infancy.
