saw him a few times here in sf. and i just picked up the live dvd-"GUN CLUB-Eternally is Here"-its pretty ruff but there is some great footage on there from his tours of europe way back when.
so surprised to see his name on this list. i can see a guitar lineage between J and Jeffery.

it was so cool hearin J w/ that big band, even if it was just short bursts-surely there is someone-somewhere who has a complete audio of that nite’s house band stuff w/ J.

i went to ‘guitargeek’ to see j’s guitar/amp setup and its from ’96!
anybody have a link or know what the guitars and amps setup is at these west coast shows?

jus got back from the show @ slims and i’m sure my ears will be rotatin fer days-
didnt know all the songs which is cool but the standouts fer me were:
‘get me’ &
‘alone’
what magnificent displays of guitar wizzardree…
it seemed j had no probs workin w/ equipment that werent hiz-or were it?
i didnt see the normal shitload of amps and speaker cabs-so maybe some of that <fender> guitar into <fender> amp sound wuz amissin, but it still sounded good 2 mee and thats a good thing.
cant wait fer more&more…
