yeah we talked on this forum about this here a long time ago-i saw it when it 1st appeared on tv…very strange combination of JJ and DINO JR.
it is also available on that shittee ‘ultimate video collection’ that is sometimes available on ebay for too much money for what it is…

(wish they would release all this video archive stuff legitimately-thought it might turn up on the so called dvd they are supposedly releasing sometime this year but i guess NOT!)i have to agree!
lastnites DINOSAUR show was probably the best i have EVER seen of any of the bands J has fronted.
that i have seen anyway…
the musicians were as tight as any soul band you will ever see…
J’s solos were stupendous-the jams came at the right time and i caught smiles from JLOUMURPH that told me they were having a ball.
i think the fact that they had played the night before allowed them to work out the crinks and settle into some awesomeness…
‘Bulbs’ went on and on and J just kept gettin more inventive as it went…
not a dull moment to be had
and hanging w/ Anthony made it all really cool
and i did get my promo pic signed…

If any of you find a uncut reel of this please let me know!concur!! way back when this was originally discussed on this site-i asked if anyone and there had to be someone who had a tape of the complete take on that snl show…never heard nothing-but i gotta believe there is something ‘out there’.
sdamn-since that J thangg is only limited to 5000 copies-i was ahopin’ that it would be offered to >FREAKSCENE< folk first…
dont know which specialty shops they will be appearing at-but i would sure hate for a chance not to get this thing.

i got that mod from RogerMayer way back in the 80s and it still worx very very good-he put a toggle on the side w/ two different eqs set up…
one’s darker than the other and both are extremely musical sounding…
J knew what he was after!!!
si picked one up when they came out and compared it to my lambsheads(2) and…HATED IT!!!
no comparison…too generic…blindfolded you would be hard pressed to figure out what pedal was being used…not so w/ a good BIGMUFF-they have a very distinctive sound.
find one from the early days and you will be happy
