Of all the clubs that should have been saved in NYC, the A-7 should have been saved, the place Bad Brains recorded the ROIR sessions, and Max’s. Those are three important places that should of been benchmarked in NYC history. But their not so I say bye bye to Cb’s……
August 27, 2005 at 2:09 pm in reply to: Dino Jr DJ online @ Woxy noon EDT Thursday July 21…today! #111029J is wearing Die Kruezen patch on his hat! That’s awesome, talk about a criminally under-rated band from the Midwest. Thier first ep and s/t lp are great!
Yea when they used to play the "Thank you" machine in between songs, that was awesome! I don’t think he has to say much…I don’t think he is un-interested maybe he just doesn’t have much to say. I’d rather just see him crank out the songs and say nothing then have him standing there talking about bullshit ruining the moment.
Danke!
Could you post it here..or send me it? I’m trying to collect some pics of them on the recent tour. Thanks in advance
Probably not….those bands are a lot different from bands like Septic Death, Die Kreuzen, SSD, Venom, & Black Flag. But who knows….I have no faith in a lot of the so called metal acts around these days, they all sound the same and none of them really stand out. Whatever ask him next time you see Dinosaur or the Fog, he usually is walking around amongst the crowd! Good Luck
that was me above I forgot to log in, duh!
To be honest the first Dinosaur album didn’t age well with me for a long time, I mean I would randomly toss it on and give it a spin but it didn’t grab me at all. Now it is different, after much gearing up for the Clevo & Detroit shows I have found a new love for that record. I know what you mean about those songs, I think the remastered version of that album does it a lot more justice. anyways yea I’m just rambling, peace!
No problem…I wish they would have done Mountain man again, oh well!
This post rules, hahaha!
Oh one more thing check this link out…

Yea the Bands That Could Be God Comp is pretty good stuff, personally I like the ep stuff better cause it grabs you more, but you can see on the later songs where they were starting to head, especially the song Dead Babies…they were out growing the punk scene musically. If you can track down both those things, good luck…great stuff.
Deep Wound had some leads here and there on some songs but it was mainly straight foward stuff for the time….It’s sad that band got over powered from the X-Claim hardcore scene in Boston cause their ep and comp tracks were really awesome and groundbreaking when they came out. If you can track down one of the boots of the ep do it, great stuff! You can probably find all their stuff on soulseek too. If that doesn’t work I can make a cdr of all the stuff they put out.
They didn’t do mountain man in detroit they did chunks
looking for the detroit set list….anyone????
