i agree. who needs dave when we have lou?
i mean, if they can play in northampton @ the theater(i forgot what the name is, i saw j with sonic youth therea couple of years ago. maybe calvin?), i will BE THERE no doubt.
nice one!

i guess jack fate is too busy smoking the GOOD stufff
oh by the way, i’m from LA so i know what the GOOD stuff is…
ammaringnyc,
how was the show?i think its really the way lou plays the bass. he plays a lot of chords and that blends well with j’s sound. also the fact that he plays with a pick also makes a big difference.
so after going to the spaceland show this past weekend. i got a chance to check out lou’s bass gear. the gear is as follows:
rickenbacker bass
marshall ibs 3530 SOLID STATE amp
8×10 cabinet
boss tuner pedalthis is the gear he used to make all his recordings with dinosaur jr. on the contrary to the belief that he played on a superbass(i wish) lou plays through a solid state amp! my friend asked him back stage to confirm this…
simple set up. no bonesi think the wives played a pretty awesome set….
hey jack fate, are you sure there are only over 40 strains of bud in humbolt?i said this before, dino makes all these new bands sound like baby puke…
it would be good to be back in LA again
spaceland is NOWHERE near hollywood.
