Good review. I felt the same way about how strange it was that the crowd was sedate for the 1st two songs and went nuts (and stayed there) from Freak Scene onwards.
i thought i had posted my review and photos but i couldn’t find it, so here it is:

off for a bike ride, maybe i’ll do some later.

i finished up the full-sized shots last night (after that incredible Twins/Tigers game), so here some larger images

Oh snap ! (sorry sh1vers)
does that mean that we can look forward to enjoying your stellar work behind the lense ?
yes, though shooting @ the ME is a very tough assignment (low, black ceilings w/ very little front lighting). i shall do my best!

both nights are sold out.
i’ll be @ Friday’s show.

thanks for the comments everyone.

that should be a good fit. i thought that Fat Possum was a bit of an odd fit, but _Beyond_ was a great record regardless.
i’d forgotten to post these shots from this show…this was about a week after i’d seen their performance @ ATP and both shows were great. Lou in particular was amped.

did he play drama mine? for some reason i thought so, though my memory’s spotty.
"kracked873 " wrote:i think he was ok, j mascis gave him a ride.. somewherewas J there? didn’t see him, but there were loads of people. crowd was kinda dead i thought, for a hometown show.
thanks for the setlist!
i was a bit disappointed in the Jason songs which were selected.
