hey crazycloud. Yes have been to Kodiak twice. In 2000 and 2006. It is a great place and awesome for Salmon fishing! We had a great time there the Kodiak brewery beers are awesome. Yeah we map the ocean for NOAA using an aircraft you might have seen our aircraft there this summer at the airport if you headed down that way.
No Adelaide is not near Tassie, its about 2000km from me. It is well worth the visit though.
Adelaide. South Australia. I work for an Airborne Hydrographic Survey Company. We do a lot of work in the US lots in Alaska I think I have been to AK for at least a couple of months for the last 5 years. crazycloud what part of Alaska are you in?
My first dino was Green Mind but discovered Sebadoh before dino and went backwards.
I was hoping that Triple J wound put this up on their website but it looks like it has disapeared.
I have uploaded the first part of the interview and the Almost Ready acoustic version. The quality is pretty bad (sorry).

Again sorry for the delay and quality.
Cheers
Shane Moritz is a dick.
How can you say ‘massive highlights’ then ‘Dinosaur dissapointed’.
Terrible review.
The set list is from one my mate grabbed off the stage. I think it was Murphs, as the words were only 15mm not like Js that were about 30mm tall.
My memory is a bit vague also. I think they played Wagon second to last in their set and there was only Sludgefest and Chunks for the encore.
Almost Ready
In A Jar
Back to Your Heart
Been There ll The Time
Little Fury Things
Out There
This Is All I Came To Do
Feel The Pain
Pick Me Up
Forget The Swan
Freak Scene
Raisans
The Wagon
Sludgefest
ChunksGreat gig. Opening band Leader Cheatah very unsuited for the support slot. Whoever arranged the drums for Murph got their times screwed up so they wernt there for the sound check. So a bit of a sloppy mix until they got the levels right. The vocals from both J and Lou were perfect once it was sorted out. It was loud but I didnt wear earplugs and was pretty close to the front.
Highlights for me were Forget the Swan and Chunks.
Probably the best gig I have been to all year. Even better than the Pixies earlier.
Hey Livingbug,
Did you manage to catch them on JJJ this afternoon. They played Almost Reday accoustic then couldnt decide what cover to play. Lou wanted to play Minor Threat/Minor Threat cos he knew the words but they hadn’t anything organised. They ended up playing a Tom Petty cover??? I got called into a meeting and was recording it but my gear went flat. Hopefully they post it on his PodCast?
Anyway have fun tonight.
Yeah I just heard that also and was just about to post.

Any guesses on the cover they might do?
His show starts at 3:30pm which will be 10:30pm LA time on 4th July for all the Americans who might want to record or stream.
LivingBug have a great time at Byron. Man that is going to be an awesome gig at the Great Northern. Post a review and setlist if you can. I am seeing them in Adelaide next weekend.
I will keep a look out for any info on them possibly showing on JTV http://www.abc.net.au/jtv/ on the weekend.
Cheers

October 5, 2006 at 2:54 am in reply to: Lou update on new Dinosaur album and a full-blown Sebadoh re #122437Solo in LA supporting probably Australias greatest band over the last decade You Am I
Man I would love to be at that show.
Is it too much to ask for a Sebadoh show in Oz? It is coming into Festival Season here.
Archers of Loaf?
Did hear something on aust radio Triple J about a rumoured Pavement reunion. Cant remember the details though. PSOI seems to tour aust regularly.
How good would replacements be though.
