Thanks guys. Yeah, as I’ve gotten older, I never really look forward to my birthday, but having Beyond come out the same week made me actually excited this year.
Maybe J , Lou, and Murph will kick out another cd for my 33rd! I think we’d all love that!
Thanks again guys
$14.99 at the local record shop. It was the best $15 I’ve spent all year.
I do like some technique players. Randy Rhoads and Marty Friedman from Megadeth are two guitarist I really like.
I read a guitar magazine about 2 years ago, that interviewed/questioned guitarist from many different genres of music. It was amazing to see how many guitarist mentioned Jimi, and Machine Gun.
I love J, but nobody is better then Hendrix! Yeah, plenty of guys have better "technique", but "technique" guys seem to be a dime a dozen. Give me a feel player like a Jimi or a J any day of the week.
Didn’t Jimi say Phil Keagy was the best?
It probably sounded better in person. The sound didn’t come across to well to me through the tv. Maybe it just doesnt sound right seeing Dinosaur play live when you cant feel it.
dinosaur: Forget the Swan

I’ll be there. Poor Weezerfreak. Looks like he’ll miss another show.
I was hoping they would tour during the middle/ end of June so I could hit the road for a bunch of shows. Early June is tough because I can’t take off too many of my students last few days .
Can’t wait.
weezer,
Thats too bad you missed the show. How old are you? Will you be 18 before the next tour?
J does tend to play Ann Arbor at the Blind Pig quite a bit too.
You’ll love seeing them live. Just remember to bring ear plugs!Take care,
Tomweezer,
I live in the New Baltimore area. Did you catch the last show at the Majestic?
Tom
Kracked,
How funny, you favorite 7 tracks are my favorite as well. I usually skip the other 4 songs.
I think the album is great. Probably my second favorite Dino album ever! Someone pointed out earlier that it may not have a Freakscene or The Wagon, but its a fine album from start to finish. My favorite songs are Crumble, Pick Me Up, Back to Your Heart, It’s Me, and What If I Knew.
I understand why people are against downloading music illegally, but I too have discovered many bands this way. I download an album, and if I like it, I buy it. If I dont like it, I just delete it.
Hatchetface,
I’m with you. I cant wait to see J and the guys turn that into a 10 minute noisefest live too.
I am loving the new album more and more. It may actually be my second favorite Dinosaur album! I just love Pick Me Up! The guitar on that song is mind blowing.
