I saw this and I just about cried. No size 13’s! To think my shorter brother (5’6") always complained about how lucky I was for being 6’4". How lucky am I now, no Dino shoes because my feet are too big. I hope I can get 13’s somewhere!
Thanks alicemudgarden. I’ll have to get lazy butt and learn them.
Its funny. I never used to like Mountain Man until I saw them play it live.
Mastodon- Leviathan
Good call on Bettie Serveert. I loved Palomine, but the last couple albums do have an adult music vibe to them.
As far as Weezer goes, I think most people are too hard on them. I think they are a great pop band. I really like the first 3 albums, and dont listen to much else.
Radiohead is the band that went wrong for me. I used to love them. They were my 2nd favorite band. The Bends was awesome. Probably my favorite album of the 90’s. The debut album is actually very solid, and quite underrated too. OK Computer was incredible. They could move a person to tears with their live shows, and looked like the sky was the limit.
I havent liked an album theyve put out since. Each album has a few good tracks, but I’m always disappointed.
Glad you liked it SG.

The only band I’ve ever experienced that with was Radiohead. My only complaint about a band getting big is the fact they start playing large venues. I loved when I used to be able to see Radiohead at old churches and tiny bars on their first few US tours. I was happy for them that they blew up. I really dont like much of what they’ve put out since OK Computer, but I still buy it. It made sense though that tons of people started getting into them, because they were a great band.
Another Girl and Tonas,
Good luck to both of you. At least one of you will get to lose to another Freakscener like I did!

SG,
I never knew Blue Cheer had covered that. Thanks for the info. My music knowledge only reaches back to the 60’s.

That whole situation with Tank Johnson is too bad. Him and Harris being out may make the game closer, but the Bears should win. As long as Rex doesnt hand the Bucs an early Christmas present.
Its impossible to know what was said between TO and Hall, but spitting on someone is a totally classless move.
Good luck everybody.
.Happy Birthday J!
