Tonas, The Hawks will get it together. Once the offense gets on the same page, the defense will improve.

Grossman has to be scaring you AGAP. All he has to do is not lose games, and he has been shaky with that. They’ll get the first round bye, and home field advantage. I just dont think Grossman is capable of leading the Bears if the fall behind in a game.

Good luck to all your teams. Hopefully they stay healthy.

Withoud a Sound may be my least favorite Dino album, but I think most critics were way too tough on it. My favorite song on the album was always "Over Your Shoulder". I also like "Even You", and "Get Out of This".

I always thought it was too bad that Mike Johnson didnt put songs on Dino albums. The stuff he was doing at the time was real cool, and wouldve made for a better album the WAS.

We had a great Halloween too. It was a little cold in Michigan, but my 2 and a half year old little guy didnt want to stop. He loved the fact that he’d go to someones house, say a few words, and walk away with a bunch of candy. He went as Buddy the Elf, from the movie Elf. The costume my wife made was so cute. He woek up teh next morning, and said "Daddy, I go trich or treat again"!

The Bears sure looked impressive. I would love to see them put a whipping on the Colts come January.

The Seahawks had a tough game. Arrowhead has to be the toughest, or one of the toughest places to play in the NFL. I still think Seattle manages to get healthy and win the West.

The Steelers are better then their record, but they just dont seem to be playing their style of football. They need to get the run going, then go play action. This pass happy offense isnt working.

Romo surprised the hell out of me. I thought the season was lost, but this guy might actually give the Cowboys a better chance to win games with his mobility.

Good luck to everyone next week!

Cool thread. AMG had a list like this up for Halloween.
I’d have to go with some Nick Cave. It’s hard to pick one song, but some of his darker stuff is pretty intense.

Is Brown going to be back for the playoffs? That Cardinals game was insane! Shows how good that defense is. Rex was turning the ball over like crazy, and the defense just kept stepping up. It shows a lot about a team when they can win, even when they dont play the best. Ulracher was making the tackle on every play in the second half. The 49ers should be no problem.

Thanks for the support on tonights game. Should be a close one.

Some of the games yesterday were crazy. Bad news for Tonas with the injury. I know we have some Big Ben/Steeler fans here too. I feel bad for all you guys. Hope your teams get healthy.

Couldn’t believe the Eagle game. McNabb was throwing up from the heat, and still managed to almost pull out the win. That kick to win the game was unbelievable!

                                  Girl and Tonas,

My son is almost 3, but he loves music. Anytime we leave the house, he says" Daddy, I grab cd’s". He’ll say "Daddy, I want J on", "Daddy, I bring Jimi", "Daddy, I want piano(which means Nick Cave)", or "DaddyI want Amma on". Lately, its been "I wanna watch Flaming Lips" . As I write, he’s asking me to "Put the D on"! He loves the Greatest Song in the World. He even walks around reenacting the video. It’s so funny watching him rip off his shirt the exact ame time as JB does in the video as he sings along.

With his age, I was worried about the volume, but didnt even consider the adult content. I figured if it was an all ages show, the content wouldnt be so bad. I wasnt really worried about the words in the songs because thats not a huge deal. I’ve seen them on SNL and the Tribute vid, and knew that was no big deal. I’ve seen them dancing around in the underwear in some live vid before too, but figured that no big deal either. The other stuff like Jables blowing KG however isnt so cool. Its funny when your kid is ripping off his shirt imitating a video, not so cute if he’s imitating that kind of stuff!

I guess I’ll have to wait to the next J acoustic show!

                                  Thanks for the heads up.

                                  Thank,
                                  Tom
