the Rickenbacker is Lou’s. The "Warlock" bass was bought as a backup by J last fall. Not that it matters now, I guess.

Lou said the same thing to me a couple weeks ago when I joked about it. I didn’t press him on the issue so who knows what might happen. He also said that J had scrapped some of the songs they had been working on in the studio and that he (Lou) might be getting a few of his own on the record after all. But again, who knows how it ultimately will work out.

The point is to talk about anything other than music if you want him to ‘open up’.The best part is when J starts to totally open up when she brings up soap operas.
And in my opinion that’s probably the way to go if you ever meet J — start talking about Gilmore Girls (seriously).
