Well we all know J loves Ace Frehley just as I do. And Ace is from the planet Jendel, maybe J is trying to become his own Space Ace. Ha…

I joined, still need to post a picture though. Man its lonely on the west coast.
I don’t, I’m driving down from Tacoma, WA
Believe it or not they are opening their own coffee house too.

I can definately hear the difference. Murph has said that J taught him to play drums that way. Maybe Murph writes his own drum parts now, I don’t know. I do know that he’s a phenominal drummer.
I have that photo autographed by J, Lou, & Murph from when they came to Seattle last August. I have it framed in my cube at work. I admire it everyday.

I think Murph told me that was at spaceland.
I feel like the teacher from Ferris Buellers Day Off……..
Anyone………..Anyone…….. :-
Murph definately has skill, but I think he doesn’t get much attention because what he plays J has written for him. I have often wondered with some of the later stuff if J wrote the drum part or Murph.
I took it especially hard when I read in an interview years ago that J would rather play drums than guitar. J being a guitar hero to me and a major influence on my playing, I must admit that when he said it, it stung.
Crazy someone could have so much talent that he can play guitar as good as Ace Frehley or Jimi Hendrix (my to other guitar heros) and play drums as good as Dave Grohl or Dan Peters. Insane.
But back to Murph, he seems to be getting more interviews lately. He’ll get attention he’s due.

Yeah it’s American Vintage, but the ground isn’t in the tremelo. The original pick gaurd had a metal plate behind it grounding everything together. When I swapped it out I didn’t put it back on because holes didn’t align up right. As a result I had to jumper the ground from the tone pot to the bridge pick up.
Next time I take the strings off I’m going to inspect all the ground connections, I may even try to install the metal plate again behind the new pick gaurd.

Was it just curiosity? (from Juan Carlos ll)LMAO
This is the best question ever!
I’m going to see Dinosaur this coming Tuesday in Eugene. If I see J and get to talk to him I’m going to ask him this question. I wonder if he’ll get pissed, or just think I’m a fuckin’ weirdo. Great question though, it needs to be asked.
