Man am I going to be the only one? :-
That video from youtube is dope!
Thanks for posting it.

I just bought a 62 USA Reissue off ebay a few weeks ago. Its funny because I also have an early 90’s MIJ Jaguar. The Jap bridge has suited me fine, of coarse I had to tweek the little screws to get them to stay put, but its been great. I’ve played many shows with that guitar. The USA Jazzmaster I just got has the same bridge, but the way it was set up was horrible. I ended up just throwing that bridge away and buying a Warmoth modified Mustang Bridge. Much better bridge and it solved all the problems of the old one. I changed the pickgaurd to a white pearloid one. I’m waiting for my white knobs and pick up covers as we speak (read). It’ll be super sweet when its all together. Its Sherwood Green, and has upgraded Seymor Duncan Vintage Jazzmaster pickups.
You’ll want earplugs for sure. I saw them in August and stood directly in front of J. I wore earplugs and it sounded perfect (still a little loud). I can’t imagine what it sounded like without them. I guessing it would have hurt.
Those are classic songs indeed. I am quite fond of them too.
ycartrob- good analysis. maybe I was a little hard on the not so uber fan. It just seems this is becoming a common complaint. I just don’t get it. But thats probably because I’ve been an uber fan for over a decade now.
On another note seeing Husker Du reunite would be the coolest (besides seeing Dino reunite of course)!
So I guess Sorry you were bumbed dude, pick up the resissues I promise you’ll find amazing music there too.
I wish these "so called" fans would get a clue. Sure I like alot of the stuff without Lou, and Murph. But to see the band in all its original glory is fucking awesome. YLAOM and Bug are classic albums, maybe you "so called" fans should invest in some reissues.
Go whine somewhere else, we don’t want to hear it.
Dude I totally remember them they’re my favorite band, have been for over a decade now. I just thought with J’s graying hair as long as it is he sorta resembles a rockin’ wizard or sorcerer or whatever Gandolf was. Thats all I’m saying.
Glad to see you had a good trip back. I’ll be checking out your site for more bootlegs soon. Hope there are some good ones. I’m still jealous as hell you got to see 7 Dino shows in 8 days. Talk to you later
I got there early, and watched them unload, rather than wait by the dressing room I opted to stay by the tour bus (I figured there were more than just one way out of the Showbox but only one way into the Bus). I may have seen you too, I stood directly in front of J, I wear glasses and have short hair. I had a good view of everyone in the front row (up against the stage).
D. Hope the show is good, a set list and a green pick would be awesome! Thanks a bunch in advance, its cool when Dino fans hook each other up. Post a review of tonights show so I can read about it. Maybe they’ll play some songs they didn’t in Seattle like Pond Song, The Leper, Repulsion, Post or They Always Come. Those would have been awesome to see too.

This one is easy for me, I always thought the solo in "Out There" was fucking awesome. From J’s tone to his fluidity while soloing. Its a great solo. I also am quite fond of the solo in Thumb. That solo almost tells a story by itself, truly amazing. Now that I’m thinking about them I think I’m going to go listen to them. Later

the set list was as follows,
1. Quest
2. Raisans
3. Bulbs of Passion
4. Gargoyle
5. Little Fury Things
6. Does It Float
7. Yeah We Know
8. Forget the Swan
9. Kracked
10. In a Jar
11. The Lung
12. Sludgefeast1st Encore
13. Just Like Heaven
14. Freake Scene2nd Encore (They had a choice between Mountain Man or Chunks….)
15. Mountain Man
16. Chunks (They played both!)I just hope someone got a bootleg. I though the show was going to be filmed for a DVD but I didn’t see any cameras…..

ÂHey I was there too, I talked with you before the show a little, hope the B.C show is as great as the Seattle one was. I ended up with J’s set list, and one of his purple "baked goods" picks. I hear there is a green one too which would be nice to have as well. I ended up meeting J after the show and finally got my last autograph to complete the trifecta! Its already framed with the setlist and is now my most prized possession. Let me know how the B.C. show goes, I also met the guy who runs freesofree.net, him and another couple were there that met Dinosaur Jr. in Vegas and have followed them up for the west coast part of the tour. They said they’ve seen 7 shows in 8 nights, needless to say I jealous as hell. He said he had some new bootlegs that should be posted by Wednesday, he was flying back to Virginia today. Talk to you later
