I was just on vacation in Seaside, Or and almost bought one of those shirts because J wears them. I think they’re horrible looking, and can’t understand why J would sport em’. When it came down to it I couldn’t bring myself to buy one, instead I chose the pirate t-shirt that says "Surrender the Booty"

I never thought J would design shoes for anyone, but if he did I would think it would be New Balance since he seems to have great relationship with them. I bought some New Blance running shoes because J sported them, they’re really nice and retro. I like em’.

I talked to him before the show. But yeah he was walking around.

When I talked to him we talked about Jazzmasters, and how far I drove to see them. We talked for about 5 minutes, I still can’t believe I got to talk to him for that long.

Nobody’s asking the important question of when do they come out?, or where can I get them? I doubt they will be readily available.

Yeah it looks like these are skatebording shoes from Nike. This particular style has many different incarnations. I just read that J and Mudhoney had played some Nike skate party, maybe thats where J was approached about the idea. Still its totally weird. I’m guessing these will be a limited edition shoe, and that we should get them quick before they sell out.

I’m all for cool Dino swag, but is this a joke? Am I actually going to be able to buy those things this fall, and if so where? Definately weird. :-

Yeah its been warm here in the greater Seattle area too. Typically we’ll only see a few days in the upper 80’s and lower 90’s. This year it seems to be a little more frequent than the past.

I really wonder if it has to do with global warming though. I’ve done research on this in some of my college courses, tempratures don’t rise many degrees from one year to the next. Typically its more subtle. We’ve only seen a 1 degree increase in the past 100 years on average. If it starts warming up on a faster clip than that I’ll start to worry. I do know one thing that historically speaking after there is an warming period the Earth goes into a cooling period or ice age. The next few decades may be interesting, but still that would be an enormously quick climate change. The climate has never changed that fast in the Earth’s history. We’ll see………
