Yeah Kennedy’s interview sucked, I can’t believe I used to want to screw her. That was a long time ago though. Good thing I got that "wanting to do a fire crotch" itch out of my system. I wonder whats shes up to now?
I had this weird dream last night that J was going to do a tribute show and play covers of his favorite songs. For some reason I was hanging out with him and asked if I could do an acoustic tribute to J to open the show. J agreed and I did Little Fury Things, and The Wagon to open the show. It was acoustic but I had all the rad guitar effects anyway. Then I had to wake up and go to work. Which started me thinking, how scared would you be preforming Dinosaur Jr covers in front of J? Damn that would be some scary shit.
No I haven’t felt the urge to become a disciple. I already know how to love, and I get plenty of hugs from my wife and kids. Now if she could speed up the DVD and the new album I might consider converting.

I would blame the last one on Ric Ruben. Thats the only Weezer album he has produced. He’s currently working on the new Metallica record. Hopefully he can get them to play fast again, and reverse some of the damage Bob Rock has done. Just my opinion though.
Happt Birthday Lou, you’re the man.

Sideways is one of my favorite Dinosaur Jr songs. Quicksand rules too. Its not considered an album though right, its a single with a bunch of b-sides.
Nevermind, I found out what I did can’t be turned nto a ringtone. Lame
Dinosaur Jr – Forget It
Not sure what it is but this songs totally rockin’ today.

Sweet, sounds like the new album is making progress. Even if its at a slow pace.

it just sounds like a scrambler to me…I pretty sure its just J shaking an amp with a spring reverb. If you have an amp with one try it, it sounds rad.
Very sad day. I listened to the Wish You Were Here album at work yesterday in memoriam.

OK, so I’m a newbie with myspace but it seems pretty cool so far. Typically I’m the dork finding my favorite bands and asking them to be my friend on myspace. Why would they ask me?
Well yesterday I’m checking my email and I see a request for friendship from a Mike Johnson. I’m thinking no fucking way, it must be a different Mike Johnson. Since I couldn’t check myspace at work (its blocked here) I had to wait to get home to see. Lo and behold it was the Mike Johnson, the one from Dinosaur Jr and all those rad Mark Lanegan records. Man I couldn’t believe it. Surely I added him to my friend list, I mean how fucking cool is that?
Anyways thought I would share the story.

If you get the chance you have to hear the version of this by the Dan Band. I bet you’ll like it better.
