try guitarpartsresource.com they’re usually pretty good, I got a sweet white perloid pickgaurd from them for my 62 reissue. It didn’t come with the metal plate behind the pickgaurd but I had it from the original. So I just put on with the new white pickguard.

I guess its just a way to keep in touch with and meet like minded people. You can share photos, music, videos, and messages. I hear its great for networking, and there are a lot of cool indie bands that you can get in touch with who don’t have the best distribution. Its cool to be considered a friend of one of your favorite bands too, Like when the Pixies added me to their friend list I said, "Wow, this monkey’s gone to heaven".

I’ve been writing songs for a while now. Everyone writes differently, I don’t think there is a specific way to do it. I start out with a bass line or chord progression. Then I flesh it out with other parts. The words always come last. Thats just how I do it. I guess they key is to never stop, and try new things, eventually you’ll progress. Don’t beat yourself up too hard, remember you’re always your worst own critic.

I’ve convinced my two other kids (10 and 7) that their mom has magic boobs that make chocolate milk, strawberry milk, and at christmas time eggnog for the baby to drink. I don’t think they really believe me though. :-
