I really like the Batschkapp Frankfurt Germany one. It was from around 87 or 88 I think. Sometimes it sounds like Dinosaur lite but then J kicks in the overdrive and it totally rocks. I like the spaceland show from 2005 as well.

The Blue Dot – Diamond Lite

I was just at my local club on Friday to see some old friends play. I was talking to the sound guy for the club, and he told me the owner just submitted a bid for witch to come out and play. For anyone who doesn’t know I live in Tacoma, WA (about 30 miles south of Seattle). They would need to have a bunch of US dates to make it all the way out here. I hope it works out, that would be killer.

Apparently J is an avid skiier. Didn’t they do a music video up on a mountain (ski resort)? I wanna say it was at Whistler in B.C.

I go over this bridge frequently as I live 5 minutes from it. Yeah the original bridge design was horrible. The newer one is much better. They are in the process now of building a second one right next to it, so by I think the end of next year there will be 2 Tacoma Narrows Bridges. The old bridge will serve West bound traffic and the new bridge will serve East bound traffic and have a $3.00 toll.

I would just sort of listen to the music of flying cloud and not pay much attention to the lyrics. Not long ago I satrted to listen to the words and was surprised to learn it was about a skiing trip. Crazy.

I’m quite fond of the Ace Frehley Signiture Series Les Paul (the really nice Gibson one, not the Epiphones), and Fender Jazzmasters and Jaguars. I also like the American Standrad Tele too.
