(the tracks are mixed up on the original boot cd – Kracked appears after Thumb, before Freak Scene. Oh yeah, and "Strange Feelings" actually is "Raisans" !)

          DINOSAUR:

          – they have played most of it, except Cats in a Bowl/Pointless (although they did a 1 min snippet of it at the 2005 Northampton show). Severed Lips was performed rarely, but at least about 4 times (1st reunion show LA 04/2005; 2nd reunion show Groningen 6/2005; Vancouver 8/2005; Tokyo 2006). They also did a "teaser" version (about 1 minute without vocals, just solo) at several shows (Antwerp & Northampton 2006)

          YOU’RE LIVING ALL OVER ME:

          – all, except Poledo (Lou played it at the August 2005 London show when they performed all of YLAOM live).

          BUG:

          – so far they didn’t perform They Always Come/Let It Ride/Pond Song. Don’t was played live at least 3 times (London, 08/2005; Vancouver 08/2005; LA 2006)

          and post 1989 stuff:

The Wagon/Out There/Feel The Pain/This Is All I Came To Do/Back To Your Heart

check http://www.freesofree.net for live recordings (makes this topic somewhat obsolete, I guess)

Yeah, J really takes off during this song when playing it live (and I didn’t see a 2nd guitarist hiding behind the curtains either ;) ). I think the studio version sounds less like Dinosaur and more like Sebadoh in a way, since the guitar has a really different & mild tone to it. And it’s a bit slower. Live, it sounds pretty Stooges-influenced, the guitar is very Ron-Asheton-like noodeling…

Earliest known recording of "Budge" played live would be Maxwell’s/Hoboken NJ, Sept. 1988. I think there’s a version or two were he mumbles a bit over the chorus, but what I find more weird is the totally vocal-less "They Always Come" (except for the singing at the end).

It’s Bonn (Germany), not Bohn. And 1988, not 83. Youtube is wrong. :D

Earliest Dino footage in circulation is UMASS 1986 (5 songs). They’re up on freesofree.net. There’s a rumor that various 1986 shows from the Sonic Youth tour have been videotaped as well.

My moneys on Reading & Leeds festival plus some dates around the UK! ;D

I guess they’ll >only< play some festivals this summer since bands hardly tour during the July holiday season because places would definitely be empty. There has been talk of a proper tour at the end of the year. Me wonders. But, "Beyond" played L I V E – yeah ! :o

Deep Wound, Sebadoh, J solo, J & The Fog will open for Dinosaur… Then there will be a Black Flag/Minor Threat/Discharge – coverband with J on drums, Lou on vocals and Murph on organ. It will all culminate in one big Jam were anybody who wants to can participate and dance. Oh yeah, and another rumor is that Neil Young and Crazy Horse will show up and perform all of Bug live, with Dinosaur simultaneously performing Zuma under the stage. Hah Hah ! :D

I guess that everyone who wants to hear it NOW is actually able to do so. But it’s just odd (and probably WRONG) to post links to free music on a website that’s all for supporting an artist we all care about…
