I like this album for sure but its not better than Farm or Beyond IMO. I think Farm is the best of the bunch. I will agree that the 2 Lou tracks are his best since the reunion. The tracks that I’m digging the most are: “Be A Part” and “Knocked Around”. I’m not that into “I Walk For Miles”, but then again I’m not that into Witch or Heavy Blanket either.

10) DinosaurI was at the show in Fayetteville (I’m from Ca.). I felt like it was a typical Dinosaur jr. show. I’ve been saying for years how obvious it is that J just isn’t that in to playing live. I just expect it now.
The songs that I felt they delivered the best were…
Tarpit
Out There
WagonTotally dig the new song. Sound quality of videos was great…I wish there was more where this came from.

The reunion has to include Murph. Mr. Berz is not an option. He is an extremely boring drummer not to mention Murph plays way harder. I am actually more excited to see Murph again then I am Lou. It should be wonderful though.
this was probably my fifteenth or sixteenth time I’ve seen Dino/J. It was amazingly loud! It hasn’t been that loud in awhile.
the new drummer is a breath of fresh air. I will always love Murph and I hope he will return to the line up someday but Kyle Spence was perfect. He is very creative and plays hard. Sludgefeast was great to hear again, its been awhile. I was disapointed the last time I saw J electric (mostly because it was half Stooges tunes) but J definately redemeed himself.all i know is, anyone but watt!
preferably-mike johnson.i have thirteen. no joke. i use to have more though.
the best is the green mind tour shirt.
of course it’s alwasys fun to wear the start choppin
shirt in public and the looks you get from folks.I have both of Beachwood sparks albums."once we
were trees", is excellent. Both albums are very good. They opened for the fog last year in S.F. and L.A.
It’s worth mentioning that two of the members of Beachood Sparks, were in an indie rock
band-"further". further was heavily influenced by dinosaur jr and sonic youth. There first c.d. was recorded at fun city in NY and Lee Renaldo plays
on it. I highly recomend them, if you can find any
of their stuff, get it. Any dinosaur jr fan would dig them.he didn’t say he doesn’t like all seven.
he said there’s already ONE he doesn’t like.
(of the seven, he doesn’t like one)Hate to be the cynical cow, but there should
be no talk of Lou Barlow on this site. He is the
Anti-J. If you own any of his music and like it , then do not consider yr self a Dinosaur jr,
or destroy his music.
fan. WE WILL HAVE NONE OF THAT!!!yesterday I was suicidal.
Today I’m happy.
Thanks for the cow flingin’ link.
I realized even i can be a winner.
I scored a beatiful 370,… beautiful. -
