i think Beyond is the album that should have come right after Green Mind (or maybe even Bug). right from the start with "Almost Ready" it reminded me of their earlier work, stylistically. the music is so much more textured, layered, and compelling than the last three albums (don’t get me wrong, i really enjoyed all of Dinosaur’s work). i have already listened to the album three times, and i think it’s not bold to say it will be one of my favorites. i also think it sounds amazing with Barlow back, "Back to Your Heart" a beautiful, standout track. the gut-wrenching, underground sound of Dinosaur is finally back.
