"girl " wrote:So I’m not really missing much? I’m not much for talking on the phone anyway. I’m one of those say what you need to say and get off the phone types. Also if I’m forced to talk to someone at lengths I can’t sit still. I usually walk around, do a little dance, make a little love…It’s sort of like, you trade in one convenience for another inconvenience… the convenience of reaching anyone in an emmergecny… the inconvenience of losing a signal mid conversation, having to stand in weird positions in your room for a better signal (sort of like dancing)… but at least im not the asshole who talks on the phone at the check out counter. Then again…. I love my 80 gig ipod but still manage to bitch about the fact that it takes over 2 hours to load all my songs on there…. but that IS over 500 cds… so why should I be complaining? I love (useful) technology but it has it’s… annoyances.
Oh. There was new material… you’ll hear it soon. Just wait, and itll be on freesofree. (i recorded the paradise show and will be recording pearl st tomorrow)…
I thought the Boston show was great… it was my personal fav. so far, I think. Kracked… what did you think? Did ya like the new songs?
Oh- I’m still in Boston… so when I get back home in the morning, I’ll upload the show.
November 30, 2006 at 12:41 am in reply to: SETLIST SPOILERS — don’t clicky if you don’t want to know #123542Soon enough… soon enough. Once I get back to Amherst tomorrow morning, the Boston show should be uploaded (as long as my wireless is working, of course)…
Then I’m off to Pearl St… to record that as well.

Did anyone record the show in Maine… or plan on doing the NY ones? Or perhaps the ones in Ireland? I’d esp love to see Galway recorded. I frickin love that place… I hope they get a chance to see the country side- it’s amazing. Plus Galway is an awesome place.

Hey, I came across this today. It looks like you posted it a looong time ago. But I have an answer for you:
Try amazon.com I got my copies of both releases (Upsidedown Cross, and Evilution) by Upsidedown Cross for a penny each (plus shipping, of course!). They also had J’s other ‘project’, Gobblehoof (Gobblehoof and Freezerburn), also both for a penny each.Try doing a search on these items if you havent gotten them yet…

Will anyone else be recording these shows? I’m planning on doing Boston and Northampon.
"girl " wrote:No, I live in Vermont. That’s why I have to go to Massachusetts to see shows. I went to Amherst to see the Pixies. It twas a great show.I didn’t catch that show. I actually have never gotten to see the Pixies. My sister surprised me by getting me tickets to the Pixies at The Paradise in Boston a year or two back… but the voice mail telling me about it didn’t arrive on my cell phone until an hour into the set! Weird. She gave me plenty of notice too, calling at noon or so. So, I missed that show- since I live in Amherst and it takes an hour and a half to get there. But, it’s on dvd. Apparantly you can see all of my sisters friends in the front row of that show.
"girl " wrote:Very nice. Do you live in Massachusetts?Yes, in Amherst actually. You?
I have already requested off from work the nights they are playing in Northampton and in Boston. I’d like to see every show, but that’s not realistic… Hopefully the other ones will get recorded though.
October 2, 2006 at 10:17 am in reply to: Glide Magazine reviews Dino Jr show @ Warsaw, Brooklyn #122131I’ve met and talked to a lot of fans of the newer generation of ‘indie’ bands. When I mention Lou Barlow- most of the time they have no idea who he is! What utterly perplexes me is that I live in Amherst MA, the home of Dinosaur JR. Some of them don’t even know who Dinosaur Jr is. Yes, these people are usually not even 20 yet- but come on.
September 17, 2006 at 4:20 pm in reply to: J playing Flywheel in easthampton, MA Tommorow Night in BURN #122229OK- I couldn’t make it to this show. Did anyone else go, and more importantly, did anyone -record- it?
Yes, but what a way to begin a story!

Still Life With Woodpecker is my favorite book. Ever. Of all time. I really mean it.As for what book this sentence belongs to: "The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed." You gave it away. It’s The Gunslinger by Stephen King.
I like this one because it also reminds me of a song:
"I never cry," she said. "But I can’t help it."
"I know it and you’re beautiful when you cry."September 16, 2006 at 10:00 am in reply to: J playing Flywheel in easthampton, MA Tommorow Night in BURN #122228Ah, hell! I don’t think I can make it to this (and therefore record it). I’m working tonight. I’ll see if I can get someone to fill in for me. I doubt I can though. Gah.
