tonight was simply stunning. same standard set of old tunes, no new teasers or anything, plus the wagon. much better than either of the irving plaza shows, though the crowd heckled the band quite a bit tonight. one encore that consisted of just like heaven, freak scene, and mountain man. talked to murph afterwards and he said he thought it was a rough show for them, but i personally thought it sounded magnificent.
live in town and will be walking there in a few hours!
July 30, 2006 at 10:55 am in reply to: Dinosaur Jr mini tour, includes Canadian East Coast date… #119348if you hate noise, what the hell are you doing on this forum? markers would blow any other band that could possibly open for dinosaur out of the water and would make it one hell of an evening. the two forgettable bands that opened for them in nyc in december were hard to get through, and i made sure i showed up late the second night.
July 29, 2006 at 11:28 am in reply to: Dinosaur Jr mini tour, includes Canadian East Coast date… #119344i only live four blocks from the lancaster venue, dinosaur coming through is something i could’ve only dreamed of. the reason why they do 18+ shows here is because there is a horrible curfew law, and all ages shows have to be over by 10. personally, i wish this show was 21+, but we can’t win em all. does anyone know who’s opening for them? markers?
