carl, i lived in tempe a few (10) years ago, and used to frequent a place called long wong’s, local bands and pretty good beer selection. there was a GREAT dive bar there (tempe) that i can’t recall the name of, but i saw the meat puppets there for 4 bucks! when it comes to me i’ll drop you the name……..

did a little record store shopping last weekend, bought brian ritchie ‘i see a noise’ and an acoustic SST sampler…with roger manning, minutemen, dinosaur jr, screaming trees, negativeland, husker du, grant hart, firehose………man, it’s great.

i’ve been using a client called audiognome for about a year now and haven’t had gripes or problems with it……. the guy that wrote the program is pretty cool too, chatted w/him a few times.

bean, if you like ‘after thw flood’, bob dylan and the band also made one called ‘the basement tapes’. the quality is a little crude, but it’s stilllll pretty good……… <img>

if anyone out there has green mind on vinyl, i would be more than happy to make a trade. i’ve got doubles of a few tom waits Lp’s, and a few other gems…….

never really got into jaco all that much (but never really listened to that much either). i have one album of him and al dimeola(sp?), but i haven’t listened to it in years….maybe i’ll dust it off and give it a fresh listen. <img>
