agreed about vick, allison, truly a bummer. he is very exciting to watch. the stillers are off to a rather uneventful preseason (0-2) so far, but i don’t put much stock in the preseason anyway. personally, i was hoping the staff would give charlie batch more of a chance to compete for the starting QB job here, i’ve never really had a whole lot of faith in tommy maddox, but time will tell. how is kordell looking so far this year…is he a lock for the starting job, or does he have some competion? i really hope he does have success in chicago, he pretty much got a bum rap here in the ‘burgh…..

on the beach is definitely my favorite neil album, but i thought it was re-issued back when zuma was(?)…no matter, i’ll take my vinyl copy any day

i must say, SG, your taste in jazz is exquisite….if i may be so bold as to add a couple of my fave artists to yer list: elvin jones, pharoah sanders, david murray, mccoy tyner, milt jackson………arghhh. just tooooooo many…….
