I only saw one taper there. Where was your recording taped from? I should be getting this show soon as well. It would be nice to compair. Thanks.
Lance, right?
Petaluma, SF, LA and San Diego were all taped…patience…
good one!I could see this line up lasting a while with limited shows (maybe a tour a year). Dave is a busy man. Although his main project is not touring until spring 2005 (Widespread Panic), he is currently touring with Jerry Joseph and Eric McFadden this summer as Stockholm Syndrome. He also is making a second ‘Slang’ album with Layng Martine III. He also plays with a band named ‘Acetate’ who play shows from time to time usually in Athens and Atlanta. Only time will tell. I would love to see them do another tour.
In response to a possible new Fog album: From http://widespreadpanic.com/theband/sidestage/fog.asp
Quote:In June Dave and J will head out on a short West coast tour that will bring the band from Seattle down to San Diego hitting most major cities in-between. The new Fog will likely record in late summer, more details will be posted as time goes along.LA should be taped too! Hopefully these all will make the rounds!
The bartender said it was the loutest he had every heard anyone there. My ears were ringing for sure.
Jayne, it wasn’t a song that they played at the 40 watt. Believe me I have listened to sloans recording about 100 times. It was new to me. I am sure it was "Set us Free". I should get this soon so we’ll know for sure.
There was a taper at the 06/07 show at the Mystic. I went last night and got his info. I will hopefully be seeding it. I will post the link when it happens.
The show was great too!
